There is only one guild on my server that has advanced in BT and they don't use MM. If you can post your saved variables file somewhere for me to get, that would be great. If not, I will wait until its included in the standard release or endeavor to set up my own. Cheers.Quote from
easiest way is to find someone you can join in a raid with :) Other than that it's possible just to copy the saved variables. I do have plans to make defaults available based on my own guild settings.

Apr 10, 2008It seems to me that BB is not working with Warlock seduce. I though I saw my pally tank's consecration break seduce a few times last night, but I didn't see a BB message, like when he broke the mage's sheep the same way. Doh! :)Posted in: General AddOns
Also, will any of the changes in 2.4 allow for BB to check for weapon buffs?

You can share with members in your party or raid now. Either share the zone data from the individual zone in the mob database or go to the "data sharing" option in the first tab to share the crowd control priority config, raid icon configuration and the entire mob database,
I am about to start leading Black Temple raids. None of the players that I will take have been in BT, yet. I was wondering if a MagicMarker user that has been using this addon in Black Temple could export their MagicMarker Black Temple database (with CC methods and prioritizations) that I could then "import". Since my guild obviously not at the bleeding edge of progression, it makes little sense to me to "re-invent the wheel". If this is not possible, please let me know, so I stop asking about it :)
Apr 3, 2008_ForgeUser64812 posted a message on IRQ for Synced Interrupts: 2.4 version or alternative?Prior to patch 2.4 this addon provided a wonderfully simple way (displays a series of bars showing the cooldowns of your own and other raid memebers' spell interrupt abilities) for spell interrupters to synchronize there interrupts. With the changes to the combat log it no longer works. The author of this addon is listed as unknown.Posted in: AddOn HELP!
I am curious to know if anyone working on making IRQ compatible with the 2.4 combat logging system, or if anyone knows of an alternative that spell interrupters should look at.
PS Admins, if there is an IRQ thread somewhere else, please feel free to move this post. I could not find any discussion of this addon using the search tool.

Great. I think you can count on the WoWAce community to provide and then refine the defaults for all the instances, including 5 mans, so long a players have a place to discuss, exchange and then rank the raid/5-man databases that get posted. I think all that you will have to do is pick the databases that you, or the community, likes best for each raid/5-man to include as the MagicMarker defaults.Quote from NeoTron »Ultimately I do want the default addon to ship with at least usable defaults for raid instances. 5-mans isn't as high on my list but... then again, why not? I'll definitely be looking at improving the data sharing / defaults for the addon.
Last night, I filled my MagicMarker database with all the mobs in ZA. I'll work on assigning tanking and CC priority to them and post here again if I happen to think of any constructive suggestions.

MagicMarker is a brilliant idea for an addon and I think what you have done so far is great. I have a horrible memory and being able to pre-program the tanking, and CC methods for various trash mobs is fantastic. MagicMarker will definitely help my Zul'aman raids get through the gauntlets much faster. It will also speed up our SSC/TK runs, because I can never remember which mobs are the CC mob and which are the kill first mobs. Very cool!
The one suggestion I thought of while using MagicMarker is that you provide a mob database (with tank and CC assignments) import/export tool. This way I can have all our raid leaders (we have about 500 toons in our raiding alliance) marking and CC'ing with consistent marks. This too will help speed up our raids. As it turns out, you already have this on your to do list.
The follow-on to this suggestion is that there be a place were players can post their MagicMarker databases so that new users can pick a profile that they like as a starting point for a new instance. Perhaps you have already thought of doing this too, in which case, this is nothing more than a "thank-you post".

No. You'd have to be in inspect range of everyone because inspecting their weapon is the only way to see the buff.
Thanks for the reply. I understand that.
I am not a coder so I don't know how much work this would be, or if this is beyond the scope of what you want to do with this addon, but I will make my suggestion anyway. Just before a boss pull, the raid is always grouped together for buffs. I'd like to be able to check for weapon buffs, at this time. Perhaps there could be a new BigBrother report with a button to click to to do a mass inspect. For players out of inspect range, BigBrother could report OoR (out of range), and for players in range BB could report the weapon buff or lack thereof.
EDITED for completeness and spelling.
