    Here ist my Binding Log as an attachment. I hope this helps some.

    There seems to be a problem with finding a certain file, which triggers an error (hr = 0x80070002). It seems to me that some kind of XmlSerializers library is missing. Here are the lines indicating this problem:

    @sylvanaar:

    Do you have any idea, why the auto-update process doesn't work for us German people? Or do you have a build with additional debug output that could help solving that problem?

    I have two Vista 32-bit machines here and both fail to auto-update (show the message at startup), although the .exe was never started directly by me. It would be great if you could find a solution, or you could tell us how to get you more information than the debuglog I posted last time.

    I'm also a German user who's experiencing the "cannot auto-update" problem. Here are the two log files.

    I hope you can find the problem, since we seem to be missing out on the latest updates. :(

    Any word on a fix for the money summary? I can't get it to work with auctioneer or KC_items, just showing the same error I posted up above.

    Actually, I have figured out now that the problem doesn't lie with Manufac, but with KC_Items, when they are installed using WAU. The subfolder "KC_SellValues" (under the modules folder) doesn't get unpacked into the WoW\Interface\Addons directory, and thus it doesn't get loaded.

    Check using "/kci sellvalues" if you have the sellvalues module correctly loaded. If there's a message about an unavailable command, then KCI is wrongly installed.

    I noticed that Manufac has a slight problem when the most current KC_Items (installed with WAU) is used in conjunction with Auctioneer (see quote below).

    Manufac-2.0.r36529\Manufac.lua:531: attempt to index global 'SellValues' (a nil value)
    Manufac-2.0.r36529\Manufac.lua:1214: in function `Menu'
    Manufac-2.0.r36529\Manufac.lua:379: in function <Interface\AddOns\Manufac\Manufac.lua:378>
    Dewdrop-2.0-46777 (FuBar):1872: in function <...erface\AddOns\FuBar\libs\Dewdrop-2.0\Dewdrop-2.0.lua:1821>
    Dewdrop-2.0-46777 (FuBar):2757: in function <...erface\AddOns\FuBar\libs\Dewdrop-2.0\Dewdrop-2.0.lua:2716>
    Dewdrop-2.0-46777 (FuBar):608: in function <...erface\AddOns\FuBar\libs\Dewdrop-2.0\Dewdrop-2.0.lua:592>

    At the moment I use KC_Items mainly for the nice (price/item) addition for the auction lines, while I use Auctioneer to gather the auction data. It would be great if you could include a way to choose which price addon Manufac uses, when they are both available. :)

    Btw, how is Manufac_Snoop coming along?

    well i tried it today, and it seems the main things i want arent there!

    can't find the itemlink (lootlink) type database
    can't find the sellvalues.

    /kci gives a whopping 4 options: auctionspy (i disable, use auctioneer), profile, standby, about.

    so, any clues for me where ic an find the sellvalue & item db stuff?

    thanks

    I just tried KC_Items today and I have the same problem: there are no additional options/modules shown. Also executing "/kci sellvalues toggle" gives an invalid option error. I have installed KC_Items using WAU.

    posted a message on SpamSentry - Ace2 release
    Quote from Phanx »
    It's because when you install with WAU, SpamSentry is marked as a "package", so WAU breaks each of those module folder out into a separate addon. IMO there's not really any point in having SpamSentry modules as individual addons, as they're not true modules anyway, and deleting one only removes functionality, while doing nothing about the entire menu system...

    I didn't suggest braking SpamSentry up into modules (which I agree would not be useful), but I wanted to give a headsup that there is something wrong with the .toc file, since the log shows that WoW is trying to load files from not existing folders.

    I wonder, if there has been a change in the folder structure of SpamSentry?

    I'm seeing the following errors in my FrameXML.log file with the latest release (updated from WowAceUpdater), even after deleting all SpamSentry* folders and reinstalling the addon (via WAU).

    The strange thing is that the .toc file instructs WoW to load those subfolders, but they do not exist. Instead of the subfolders there are three additional folders (SpamSentry_bot, SpamSentry_report, SpamSentry_rp) in the Addon folder.

    Despite the inconsitencies between .toc and the folder structure SpamSentry seems to work without Problem. Maybe you could look into it anyway? :)

    Or could someone at least tell me, how to rotate the instance notes, so that I can correct this by myself?

    Yes, unfortunately the instance notes are still wrongly orientated, so that the map currentls doesn't help much. :(

    It would be great if you could fix this?

    I've noticed that there's a small bug in the DemonTrainer.lua module, which causes the translation of "Already known" to be unused. I've marked the neccessary change in red (starts on line 100):

    local descOrKnown = gratuity:GetLine(6)
    if descOrKnown == L["Already known"] then
    self.db.char.knownSpell[skillName] = true
    description = gratuity:GetLine(7)
    else
    description = descOrKnown
    end

    The embedded browser is not as bad as some people make it out to be. It can only navigate to one page, once the first navigation is done thats all it can do in that window. And the new ads are barely noticable.

    That's all nice and dandy, as long as no security vulnerabilities of IE get exploited. You really can't expect the control to behave as configured, when its internal structures are breached and remote code gets executed! And the worst of all is that WAU on Vista requires to run with full privileges, which disables any additional protection introduced to the Internet Explorer by being executed with limited privileges.

    Please, I implore you again to get rid of that damn IE control and use something/anything else to display those ads!!!

    RUNNING THE IE CONTROL WITH FULL ADMINISTRATOR PRIVILIGES IS A SECURITY RISK OF GALACTIC DIMENSIONS!!!
