I just saw the "attach trash drops to lass boss" option.
and I just want to say, awesome! thanks alot, I'll test it out tomorrow night in hyjal.

I'm wondering what it will do on a boss like the illidari council where each mob has a different name but only 1 is recorded as being a boss kill. From the looks of it it will attach each loot to the primary boss that was killed - in which case I think NRT now does everything I ever need it to do.

    Awesome work!

Since you can now add notes to attendances, can we get that put into the CTRT output. For example:
    <note><![CDATA[zone - boss]]></note>

    would become
    <note><![CDATA[zone - boss - NRT note]]></note>

    thx!

edit: hehe.. I just looked into the addon and saw:

-- Add in attendance.note here somewhere?
    text = text .. "<note><![CDATA[" .. attendance.zone .. " - " .. attendance.name .. "]]></note>"

I change it to include the attendance.note as I described above and tested it on our DKP site and having the three different things in there worked perfectly, so you may want to do it permanently o)

Also if an attendance hasn't been taken when the trash mob drops loot, have it do an attendance check then.

Im hoping you are asking this to be an option, because if you get lucky on trash drops you will be doing attendance 10-15times per night

I know this was suggested over on the nihilum forums, but I thought about it some more and came up with an easy way (although Im not sure how easy it will be to implement).
It would be awesome if you could re-assign loot to a different attendance. So for example trash mobs drops whatever and you assign it to the first daily attendance, or the previous boss kill, or whatever.
The easiest way I see to do it would be to be able to ALT-click the item and get a pop-up box with a list of all attendances taken so far and you just click which one it should belong to. Since some people seem to keep their entire raid history in NRT, maybe just the previous three attendances.

As an alternative, if an item is looted from a mob that does not have an attendance associated with it, it is automatically assigned to the last attendance taken. -- maybe this could be an option that can be toggled on/off

    Thanks o)

Just thought Id add what the actual issue is in case rabbit reads this.

In the beginning of the XML string, there is a <Note></Note>.. Now for some stupid reason the CTRT importer doesn't like the capital N there.. it will only parse that note if its <note></note>. Also left out is the zone name in that location.
NRT only puts the boss kill in that location.. What needs to change is:

    <Note><![CDATA[Morogrim Tidewalker]]></Note>

    should become:

    <note><![CDATA[ Serpentshrine Cavern - Morogrim Tidewalker]]></note>

    or something. (the above works)

Not broken at all, works 99% here. The last 1% is actually an error in the CT_RA output format, it doesn't put the zone name and boss name in the correct spots - but besides that it works fine.

A couple people in that thread are reporting that people from groups 6-8 are not getting added to the attendance. That is a feature that was added by request. In the options of the addon you can now set what groups to add to attendance. If that is your GL's problem I suggest you have him check his options.

@sempi: Fight fragmentation depends on dropping out of combat, if blizz changed a fight so that one doesn't drop out of combat anymore the fragment gets lost. I'm not sure if this is the case with the fights you mention. Improved fight segmentation is already on the wishlist though.

That would do it, a couple months ago they fixed the fight so you don't drop combat anymore. Is there anyway to do a manual break, via a command or something?

For some reason recently (for a couple week-months I'm not sure) multi stage fights that used to get broken up do not anymore. For example the RoS event - you used to be able to select each phase seperately and see the dmg/healing/etc during those phases. Recount no longer breaks up those fights, is it possible to re-enable that?
I'd imagine there is some tie-in that can be done with the ace-event or whatever mod that things like omen use to detect the different phases and reset threat, probably the way recount used to but no longer does.

Anyway just seeing if anyone knows if its possible, or if there is a setting or something.

    Thanks

posted a message on Hidden channel data sent without addons?
Im just wondering, if you have all addons disabled - does all the addon chat data still get sent to your client?
If so, is there a way to disable it from being sent?

Im curious because if indeed all data is getting sent like it seems to be - it basically makes raiding on a slow connection more of an issue - and raiding on a modem impossible.
