The white background is almost blinding in its brightness. I would suggest changing the default background to black.
Or Grey ;p

I just wanted to say how much I like this CD timer bar display add-on. I did want to request a couple of things, though:
First, I see you've got "add SCT support" on your list of things to do, and I'd love that. You may be able to steal some code from TopScoreFu, it's got an option to report messages to SCT.
Also, the sound is super annoying! Adding an option to disable it would be great, reiterating what a previous poster said.
For anyone else reading this that hates the sound, until an option is added:
In the file: "..\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\CooldownTimers2\core.lua"
Delete the line: "PlaySound("Deathbind Sound");"
It's at the very bottom of the file.

I've done it in MSBT, but it triggers if I'm not the one who puts the poisons on as well, though that could be my lack of proper filtering. Does this differentiate between if it's my deadly poisons or not? Or does envenom work on anyone else's poisons?

@Klam - Quartz already pulls from SharedMedia. Castbars, etc use status bar textures. Set the texture you want as a statusbar texture.
@gahzor - I think I have seen mention of some addons conflicting to hide the default Blizz castbar (which is what you are seeing on your screen). Try checking the options or enabling/disabling anything which might touch your cast bar besides Quartz.

Banzai will use Soar if it's detected, no matter where it's from. Format settings, however, are internal to Banzai, and there is not yet a configuration for it. That's on the to-do list, after I finish cleaning up the legacy notification destination code.

BanzaiAlert will now use Soar if it's present. Should fall back to previous behavior cleanly.

10 minutes with this addon convinced me to switch from MSBT. Awesome stuff ..... and so CPU friendly as well (a big deciding factor in my cae, since my frame rate drops drastically in raids)

hey ammo, great addon.
was wondering if there is a way i can shorten the duration that the spell being cast is displayed on screen. or if possibly you could add a setting to do that. as it is now the spells tend to stay up longer than i need, and add up quite a bit in pvp.

I've been using WitchHunt for spell alerts and until u made Parrot i used MSBT.
Someone one day modified WitchHunt so we could choose which scroll area and mode (sticky/normal) to use for WitchHunt.
I asked Ammo to do the same with Parrot but he consider this as "useless bloat"
I mean that makes the difference between : Oops sorry i didn't see my shadow on Leotheras because i'm in melee and the onscreen message wasn't in the correct location/wasn't clear and a successfull down !
Could you do something ?
