I'm trying to get my raid frames to appear like my old pitbull raid frames (see below for screen shot) but I can't figure out how to get Grid to show ten frames per row (or two horizontal groups next to each other). I tried searching for a solution but could not find any answers. Thanks for your help!

do you know of a way to prevent it from indenting like that? either a window option setting somewhere, or a prat option/module somewhere, or even another mod that we can install (compatible with prat of course!) to remove the indent?
Nope. No idea, sorry. I'm just starting to get used to it. :)

[2008/05/13 17:00:33-548-x1]: Prat-Prat 2.0 (71730)\Prat_Modules\modules\Substitutions.lua:848: attempt to index global 'ICON_TAG_RAID_TARGET_STAR' (a nil value) ---
As are other people I am also getting this error. Even though it seems nothing is wrong the text is sometimes indented when it has to go to second line.
Here is a screen shot of what I am talking about, you should be able to see how the second line of text is indented under the time stamp.
That's blizzard's work. Not prat.
May 7, 2008I just ttried out Chatter I have a few suggestions/comments/questions:Posted in: General AddOns
1. The "Chat Tab" option is morphing the size of my "Fane" chat tabs. It changes the size of the font on my chat tab when I click through tabs/mouse over them. This makes it very unappealing since it makes my pixelated font look blurry.
2. I'd like to see an option to change the padding between lines of text in the chat frames. This would enhance the look of many fonts and increase readability for some. (Or if someone knows how to do this send me a PM I'd like to apply it to my UI)
3. I can't seem to get rid of the black shadowy background when I hover my mouse over the chat frame. I've gone through all the setting options at least three times. I must be overlooking something. (I'm not using Skinner and I have the alpha set to 0%)
I guess I'll stick to Prat for now until I figure out how to fix these problems.
EDIT: Just wanted to say I'm really liking the mouse-over-color-name-by-class option. No more shift-clicking trade channel!

I have timestamps working fine on my chat windows (general, guild, trade, etc), but no timestamps show up on the combat window. Is there a module to plug in, or an option to set, to have timestamps show up in the combat window too, please?
Find out which ChatFrame your combat log is and enable timestamps for that ChatFrame. FYI combat logs now have an option to enable timestamps too if you want the blizzard time stamp.
May 4, 2008Is there a way to make ClearFont not apply to certain font texts in the game? I'm trying to have a different font for the name text that floats over people's heads. I tried editing out the line with "UNIT_NAME_FONT = NORMAL_TEXT_FONT" but it didn't seem to work. Maybe I'm missing something. Anyone?Posted in: General AddOns

mixu, you can easily replace the default border texture with something more aesthetically pleasing, without cyCircled or any other addon. Look through the WoW Screenshots thread for some ideas and download links.
Thanks I'll give that a try. :D

Is it possible for ClearFont to change the font size instead of just scaling? I'm looking for a way to make all my fonts one particular numerical size.
Well I figured it out. Here's what I did in case anyone else was trying to do this too:
1. Open Design.lua
2. Edit every line containing " ## * scale " and substitute ## with the font size desired. Font sizes that require the font to be 2x's or 3x's larger than normal font will have a multiple of the font size desired. (i.e. My normal font size is 8, so for larger font size I put in 16 and for very large font sizes I put 24)
3. Set scale to 100%

Or BagBar mod?
You can skin most of the bagbars buttons i think (works with Bartender, bongos ...)
If you want to skin the bags frames, maybe you should use something like skinner?
I have cyCircled working with my FuBar already. I was thinking maybe cyCircled could skin the individual item frames (or buttons I guess) in the your inventory itself. WoW's default borders on the item frames are hideous D: I believe Skinner adds nifty backgrounds to the bag frame but not the individual item frames itself.
Apr 28, 2008Are there any plans for a bag mod support? I'll switch to which ever bag mod cyCircled supports :DPosted in: General AddOns

Surfaces is ancient... I'm pretty sure it's not even on the SVN anymore. Upgrade to SharedMedia; it includes all the textures Surfaces did and more (and fonts too) and registers media with modern libraries like LibSharedMedia-3.0. The only reason Surfaces works with your other addons is because they use the older LibSharedMedia-2.0 or the even older SharedMediaLib-1.0, both of which include additional code to capture media registered to versions older than themselves (including SurfaceLib).
I'm using SharedMedia :(
To be more specific, some textures from SharedMedia are showing up but the one that I'm using with PitBull (Hal's textures) doesn't show up with Quartz.
