    Was wondering if you wanted to continue developing this addon, it has functions I've been looking for a long time, and with a few adjustments it would be a great tool for raidleaders. If you want I could help on the side with testing, adjustments and new ideas.

    What I have in mind:
    - Adjusting the functionality so it more of a group and raidcheck.
    - Only saving characters for more than a session, save option instead.
    - Gearscore calculation will use the "Gearscore"-addons values.
    - Don't need to open character to see if they are missing gems or enchants, show it on the list.
    - Check for flasks, foodbuffs and other raidbuffs.
    - For further developing it could record errors done on bosses, deaths and give an overall rating for that (gear isn't everything).

    My idea is to take this addon make it valuable for raidleaders or people to check the pug they are in. Join the addons used now and combine them to one all-in-one.

    Hope you like the idea and you have the time to continue this addon, no other like it is active atm.

    I'm not the big LUA coder but I:

    - Used the editor "Notepad++"
    - Seached for "The Obsidian Sanctum" in "Loggerhead/Libs/LibTourist-3.0/LibTourist-3.0.lua"
    - Copy pasted a new line with "The Ruby Sanctum" every where that I "The Obsidian Sanctum" occcured.

    This should add RS to the list in Loggerhead.

    Ok maybe I'm going around this the wrong way. This is my first addon, but i have programmed php for a long time, and lua seems to tease me a bit.

    The idea is for the Northrend Beast Heroic fight.

    The addon
    Its a single button for priests that show levitate and scans which healers or maybe raid havent got levitate. With a single click, a partymember gets levitated and the button updates to the next target.

    Why?
    If the healers can stand still during the fight against Gormok, risks of tanks dying are lower. The addon will make it easier for the priest not to focus too much on who is missing Levitate.

    The WhoToBuff function is gonna check for a new target missing the buff after the button have been clicked, and change the target of the button.

    Hey all.

    Been using quite a while to figure this out, but i have reached madness ;)

    I need to execute a function each time the following button is clicked:

     	<Button name="EasyAccessButton" inherits="SecureActionButtonTemplate">
    		<Attributes>
    			<!-- left click to cast -->
    			<Attribute name="type1" type="string" value="spell"/>
    			<Attribute name="spell" type="string" value="Healing Wave"/>
    			<Attribute name="unit" type="string" value=""/>

    		</Attributes>
      		<Size><AbsDimension x="47" y="47" /></Size>
      		<Anchors>
      		<Anchor point="BOTTOM">
      			<Offset><AbsDimension x="0" y="0"/></Offset>
      		</Anchor>
      		</Anchors>
     		<Backdrop bgFile="Interface\Icons\Spell_Holy_LayOnHands" edgeFile="" tile="true">
     		<TileSize><AbsValue val="43"/></TileSize>
     		<BackgroundInsets><AbsInset left="0" right="0" top="0" bottom="0"/></BackgroundInsets>
     		</Backdrop>
      	</Button>

    I have tried to insert the following into the button which make the function run, but the spell doesn't get cast anymore.

    		<Scripts>
    			<OnLoad function="WhoToBuff"/>
    			<OnClick function="WhoToBuff"/>
    		</Scripts>

    I'm pretty sure that this addon wount be done over night, and I'm pretty sure that it will take plenty of hostility from ppl who don't want to help on this.

    As far as I can see, I just need to keep answering ppl who don't want to help, and eventually someone see the post and will like to team up on this.

    Thx keeping this post on top ;)

    Phanx, if it was just that easy. Every guild has it's own way of doing things, and I have mine. Be.imba is used often in my guild and therefor I'm pretty mad everytime it's slow or armory is making errors.

    Let's get back to the talk about how to make this. If there are any developers out the rdy for giving it a shot, I will gladly participate. I'm programmer and designer by profession, but haven't spent much time in LUA-programming. I have been re-writing some addons, so maybe I could assist on some part of the project.

    Send me a PM if you want to make an addon that has a chance to get used like be.imba does.

    Think of no need of armory being up! Just have raid members be in range, and you have your results.

    Maybe this project be split up, so that in time it will become ingame imba, but to start with it could have the most usable options.

    Can it really be? There are so many ppl developing, that no one wants to create something quite usable like this.

    Thanks for using your time to post. I know be.imba, but to type in every name before raid, and with the lousy loadingtimes on EU, imba isn't an option.

    That's why I'm asking for an addon, just to check if an item is enchanted or not.

    How about rewriting Fubar_GearRating?

    As GM and RL I often find myself in a situation for knowing if my guildraid all has been full enchanted and used rare gems.

    Haven't had the luck of finding any addon to use. Does such exist or do a bright guy want to create it, I will gladly help with the functionality?

    Thx again for the replies.

    I found a simple Ace2 addon to start out with called "LootToGuild". With the addon i modified it to spam the guildchat every time I looted af fish, my first addon "FishSpammer". After a little playing around I think i have the idea on how the basics work.
    Next learning project was a LootRecorder i Raids. I have seen the basics on AceDB and got it to write to the lua file in saved variables. It seems like I have reached a place where I need to read more up on things cause I keep getting errors with nil-values when I try to put date and zone text functions into local variables.

    To your question on what addons I have in mind, my ideas are guildrelated. As of being a GM for about 2 years now, I need tools so that I can save a little time.
