    One thing I'd like to see is an option to view more than one line in the Lego Brick. Kind of like a preview of the next thing to do, perhaps slightly faded out and semi-scrolled down. Useful so that you know what the next step is so that if its completable as you're doing other things you can save some time along the way.

    Also, what is the purpose of the Search bar? It doesn't search the quests, it seems to filter the left hand pane with the Guides. (That pane is labeled Addons... whats the idea behind that? Plugins for the future?)

    I'd like to see a bit more information available in the 'lego brick'. I picked this up last night and tried it out on my blood elf in ghostlands. I liked the feel of it, but when the brick just says "Complete QuestABCD", I still have to open up my quest log and refresh myself on what exactly I'm supposed to be doing. On some quests thats not a big deal, since it will also auto trigger the quest tracker for the objectives, but not all of them do that.

    Certainly, I'm not saying you should create the wheel all over again, but as noted by another poster above, Avion did not show up in RockConfig for me either. But I'm also speaking of the general complexity of the menu system. You're offering a *lot* more control of the animations now, and its really unclear how to do things like creating a basic animation for a debuff or a trinket proc, or an ability cooldown, etc. An updated wiki might help with that, but also making sure the menus are arranged in a logical order that facilitates adding things in the correct order would be a big help.

    Basically I spent an hour last week trying to make a single animation and I couldn't get it to show up, and I'm a pretty savvy guy.

    I have got to say, I am very disappointed with the menu system of Avion. PowerAura was great - you had a graphical system that quickly let me setup animations. Using PA I could set up all the animations I wanted in 5 minutes and be good to go. Avion is currently a royal pain in the arse to setup using the dewdrop menus. If I want to change a setting and then observe the results, maybe tweaking a few other things to see how they look in conjunction, the menu system is unforgiving and makes the task take much longer than it should. There's also a total lack of ease of use in creating these effects. Its not clear how exactly someone goes about adding an animation effect for something like it was in PA. Its confusing as heck right now.

    I'd strongly urge you to consider revising the user interface of Avion. Right now its just completely incomprehensible.

    Does anyone have a tag set for displaying 'instant DPS', calculated the same way that SWStats or Recount does it? The default Assessment dps view is 'damage done / time in combat', which gives some pretty low values for fights where people are running in/out, performing secondary roles, etc. I'd like to construct a set that shows dps just for the time they were doing dps, but not really sure how the tags work for that.

    Slightly annoying change that I've only noticed in recent versions. On a new char when I learn a new pattern/recipe there isn't a way to refresh the Manufac listings to update with the new patterns. I have to "open" another professions menu as though I was going to make an item from it, and then go back to the profession with the new pattern and do the same. I know there used to be an option in the pattern listings that would refresh without needing to do all this. Was it removed for a particular reason?

    That probably has something to do with the authors comments above saying that the mod currently has no options implemented for it. This is very much still in early dev.

    Here's something I had always wished the original Power Aura had been able to do.

    The ability to distinguish if I'm in a raid vs a party vs solo for some of the visual effects. This way I can set up an effect that triggers on "If in a raid, not in combat, and missing BUFF XYZ"

    This is good to hear, I'd been disappointed at seeing that PowerAuras wasn't being updated.

    One thing I was concerned about was that PA used to be quite the memory bloat because of all the textures it was loading. Is that going to be addressed?

    I think you missed my addendum that covered exactly that - I'd like the logic to be like this:

    Item 1 has: 1 Blue Gem and 2 Red Gems
    Item 2 has: 1 Red Gem and 2 Yellow Gems

    RatingBuster should then say "The player is likely to put the same gem in the Red Socket from Item 1 in Item 2's Red Socket" and then compare the stats as though that were the case. I'm sure some sort of default logic could be done in the cases where multiple gem types are in the same sockets etc etc.

    Right now it doesn't make much sense to turn on the gems comparison if I'm comparing versus a new drop that has no gems in it, it means I have to add some mental calculations on top of the rating summaries.

    ClearFont2's most recent versions appear to have some serious stability issues. Users of RDX (www.rdx-raid.com) began noticing some interoperability problems this morning between the newest RDX release and ClearFont2, which Venificus (the RDX author) eventually tracked down to being soley a problem with ClearFont2. With just ClearFont enabled in the WoW addons menu (latest version) numerous users are reporting Error 132 crashes of WoW during the loading of the game world.

    Venificus is not including this statement as a warning on a new patch of RDX -
    This release fixes a number of interoperability bugs between ClearFont and VFL addons. However, there are still bugs in recent versions of ClearFont, with severity as high as outright Error 132 client crashes.

    These bugs are unrelated to VFL/RDX (disable them and see if you still get the crashes, I did) and if you are experiencing this problem you need to disable ClearFont until it is fixed.
