posted a message on Aloft - Customized Nameplates - Official Thread
Is there a way to modify the default name tags of NPCs/players, without turning name plates on? I find the default tags very hard to read whereas the nameplates are easy to see, but they don't extend far enough and cut off long names.

posted a message on ClearFont and ClearFont2 - Official thread
Compatibility issue with RDX6 (specifically the VFL library module):

ClearFont generates this error through VFL -
Interface\AddOns\VFL\UI\Core.lua:439: Please use :SetFontObject() instead of :SetFont() for manipulating VFL pooled fontstrings.

Here's the explanation from the RDX6 author, Venificus.

ClearFont is causing that error to occur.

However, that error is manually created by VFL, so I will change it to a warning instead so the UI isn't disrupted by it.

The reason that error exists in the first place is that calling :SetFont on VFL reusable objects (Which is what ClearFont is trying to do in this case) causes a lot of graphical corruption, like random sized fonts all throughout VFL dialogs. If you see this effect you should disable ClearFont.

Is there a chance we could achieve a workaround between these 2 mods?

posted a message on HonorFu fixes for 2.0?
I'm not sure if the OP was saying the values are incorrect, or if he was just trying to point out the features that don't apply in WoW2.0 anymore. His post is confusing in that respect.

It just needs to be brought in line with the new honor changes a bit more.
    Should have in my opinion-
-Total Honor gained for each BG today
    -This session's Honor/Bonus Honor
-Remove the rank info as it's irrelevant now
-Bonus/HK Honor from the last BG you left

posted a message on EavesDrop 2.0 (a SCT style combat log)
Grayhoof is there a reason that Eavesdrop is not grabbing all the proper icons for buffs/debuffs? Things like Crusader procs (Holy Strength) etc all show up with the "unknown" icon, as well as a lot of debuffs (Deep Wounds isn't showing either).

    posted a message on Cartographer
I believe that this addon is causing some Taint at some point in its execution.
The following macro (provided by the WoW UI/Macro forum) causes the error frame to popup announcing that Cartographer has done something blocked by Blizzard.

    /cast [stance:1/2,noequipped:Shields] Berserker Stance; [stance:1/2,equipped:Shields] Shield Bash; [stance:3] Pummel

    what about a macro like:

    /cast [target=mouseover, exists, help] decurse_spell_name

and in place that target the model player or the unitframe, have a list with Detox that could accept this macro.

DO NOT get used to using this macro. I already checked with Slouken and got a response back that this is a completely unintended effect of the target=mouseover option for macros. Right now that macro will cast on non-secure frames which is NOT supposed to happen. It's already been slated for correction in the next patch (2.0.2).

I strongly suggest that those of you in this thread who think you can outsmart Blizzard stop trying to find clever "workarounds" to Detox/Decursive style gameplay. Anything you find that allows spamming of a button over some unit frame is going to be fixed rapidly. Blizzard does not want you to be able to do this anymore.

Possible to get EQCompare working with AtlasLoot?

It already does. Open up your atlasloot options, and check "Use Equipcompare"

My mistake then, I assumed that that particular option was referring to the much older addon with the same name and wouldn't be compatible.

Could you perhaps elaborate on the tooltips for the Fade/Kill options in the dewdrop window? I'm still not certain exactly what they do and I've had some guildies ask me about it as well. They just seem to be confusing items in the menu.

Malan, it simply iterates the RosterLib roster table using pairs(...), which means order is "not guaranteed" from 3 sources: WoW raid1-40 ID's, RosterLib table and pairs. None of these guarantee order.

We were curious because it continuously places one of our highest healing druids at the start of the rotation, and then one of our worst priests as the number 2 man. (Week after week it does this, the same 2 players in the number 1 and 2 healing slot) This addon is great, but could *really* use a way to alter the order of the rotation.

Rabbit can you explain why the healing rotation is arranged such as it is? My guild is using this but some of the healers have questions about why the rotation looks the way it does.

posted a message on Chronometer (Ace2'ed AceTimer)
I'm a resto spec'd shaman, and I've noticed that the buff to targets Healing Way only sometimes gets detected and added to the timer bars, and the same for Ancestral Fortitude. Healing Way is applied on *every* cast of my Healing Wave spell, yet I can spam heal myself with it and never have the chronometer bar show up, only to have it randomly appear once in awhile. Same thing with ancestral fortitude. Sometimes it shows, sometimes it doesn't.

I really dislike the way the candy bars are in set locations, could you add an option for the bars to "collapse" to the top/bottom of the stack as timers run out?

    Example:
This is how it currently looks if I only put down one or two totems
    |-----WindFury Totem-----
    |
    |
    |----- Searing Totem--

What I'd like to see instead:
    |----Windfury Totem----
    |----Searing Totem ----

Eliminate the gaps between the totems that are down. I know some people want the totems to show in the same spots all the time, so I'd like to see this included as an option to not display placeholders for totems that aren't in play.

When using the standard view format (the non candy-bar one), can we get an option added to completely hide the window if no totems are down?
