The latest commit fixes the issue Farmbuyer reported above. Recount would lose identification of cross-realm players and trigger rescan of all targets causing potential slowdown under certain circumstances. The fix should drastically improve performance in situations containing cross-realm combatants.

I've already tagged it for release, so people should be getting this version when they update.

I have also updated the RecountThreat module to be toc-current.

@Phanx: Still trying to reproduce. I get delete requests only at beginning and end of scenarios not otherwise. I have not experienced mid-scenario delete popups. Need more details to reproduce I guess.

@All: 5.3 version (toc bump) is out, including a minor monk guard absorb fix.
@Phanx: I'll look into it. I'm still traveling so won't be touching anything major for another week or so.
@Farmbuyer: I'll see if I can curb that problem. Thanks for reporting.

You can enable collection of data for NPCs who will then show up in the bar display and you can get a breakdown of the spell abilities like for a player.

Thanks for testing it out. I've committed the fix to the main branch.

Try the latest alpha and let me know if it properly lifted the deletion confirmation dialog.

Not likely going to add code for that. But the cleaner way to achieve what you want is to turn off the global data collection toggle inside recount rather than outright pause it.

The only piece of information you are not directly getting from the detail display of Recount for Dot/Hot uptime is how it relates to total combat length. You can cross-read that from the activities tab though.

If you just want to see if dots are kept up you can indeed see that. The DOT time in that display is indeed that dot's uptime. If one dot has less uptime than another dot then indeed it was not kept up as much.

I agree that for your purposes the % numbers are not super helpful, but still useful. If all percentages are balanced, then all dots had equal uptime.

Given that all information is there, someone could write a plugin that would do what you ask. Given limits on my time I don't plan to do this however.

Another solution is to check if the old emitpU still works, which gives a running in-combat solution to what you are looking for.

Seems to be a sharedmedia load order issue.

Can you do me a favor and check if the following solves your particular issue? My own setup doesn't seem to produce such load order issues, so I'm not sure how to reproduce.

    Add:

    SM:RegisterCallback("LibSharedMedia_Registered", me.RefreshStatusBars)

    To:

    function me:CreateTextureSelection(parent)

    in GUI_Config.lua

If that works I'll add it to the Recount proper.

That's intended. The pie chart shows how much of your total ticks are caused by what spells. The total will always be 100% (as long as there is data). But I can see how that is confusing, however it is consistent with all detail displays in Recount. The pie chart always gives a per-ability breakdown of a total and not an absolute value of all contributions organized in a pie chart which seems to be what you are expecting. In some cases there are identical. In this case what is confusing is that of course uptime can overlap and if one thinks of uptime in real game time then the total uptime used for the 100% here is not that value.

I submit that there is no sane way to do this to make your expectations (at least none I know) as a circle in a pie tends to represent 100% and there is no sensible way to get more than 100%, which would be needed for what you are expecting.

In short that pie chart is simply not meant to show uptime relative to game time, but internal percentage contribution to dot uptime. I think it's useful because you can see how many of the active ticks came from what spell, so if someone doesn't keep all the viable dots up their percentage breakdown will be skewed appropriately.

r1237 adds a "Scenario Instance" zone filter to the config window and fixes various bugs related to data collection, zone filtering and deletion in scenarios and fixes misclassification of solo-scenarios as raid.

I'll tag it release once I get feedback that it works as intended.

I just committed an alpha (r1236) which moves the config window into the DIALOG strata. Please let me know how this affects your current UI. If there are adverse effects I may explore alternative solutions.

I'm only aware that zone detection was broken for scenarios which was fixed quite a while back. It collects just fine for me. I'll need more information to reproduce if there is another issue here.

Do you have a recommendation for what strata it should be on? It will be higher than Recount when opened and I don't really have a sensible way of knowing where other addons choose to place their frames. In my UI the config window virtually never comes up occluded by other frames, so I don't really have a gauge to judge the issue.

As for placement, noted. I'll see what I can do.

The code should not produce the effect that you report re dot uptime. What spells specifically are you referring too? More likely the tick times for these spells have changed and that needs adjusting.

The time data allows the time based detail graphs. They are extremely data intensive and are only recommended for very specific situations.
