    i can see a black square - so i think there ist something wrong with the path.

    AddonBtn = CreateFrame("Button", nil , AddonFrame, "SecureActionButtonTemplate")

    ...("Button", nil , AddonFrame, "SecureActionButtonTemplate") - AddonFrame without "" - thx

    Ok, now i cant see the button, but i can click it^^ I think i have to create a template - isnt it?

    i try to create a frame with text inside. Creating the frame works...

    local AddonFrame = CreateFrame("Frame", "AddonFrame", UIParent)
    AddonFrame:EnableMouse(true)
    ...


    but how to create text?

    local AddonFS = AddonFrame:CreateFontString("FontString","OVERLAY","GameTooltipText")
    AddonFS:SetText("Testtext")


    will not work. Why?

    But when i create a frame like this i has a titlefield and a close button ... Is this possible to have a blank frame?
