Cooldowns tab hard to find? Top 2 options hard to read?

    -Ammo

What Cooldowns tab? I only have Loot Method and Ready Check tabs (see attached screenshot). I'm using r285 on enUS 3.2.2a live.

I can't seem to find an option to toggle the oRA3 cooldowns frame (I'm already using RaidCooldowns). Does such an option exist, and if so why is it so hard to find?

So this doesn't support both CTRA and Blizzard tank lists? My current guild is stuck with oRA2 for MTs because it just isn't feasible to force everyone to switch to oRA3 and then find unit frames that support Blizzard MTs.

I put in a request to take over Main Assist so that I can fiddle with it to see if I can add Blizzard MT support in addition to the currently existing CTRA tank support (which does not require CTRA/oRA2 to be installed as far as I know; it just listens to the addon raid comm channel). I'd also like to play with making it automatically synchronize CTRA and Blizzard tank lists so that other people could get accurate lists regardless of what method they're using.

Main Assist is still the best tank list addon I've ever seen because:

    - it lets you set keybinds for adding people to the player targets list
    - it lets you set primary and secondary assist keybinds, and then dynamically assign (while out of combat of course) which players on the list those keybinds should act as assist targets for

The one thing that sucks is that MA is Ace2+Dewdrop based.

Would be nice if there were some indication of which feeds claim to be launchers and which claim to be data sources.

posted a message on Calendar invite notice popup
First off, Curse seems to be lacking a Calendar addon category.

Second, I was thinking it'd be really nice to have an addon that pops up a frame to tell you when you have unaccepted invites on your calendar. I'm currently using a Broker plugin, but I don't always think to check it.

I looked but was unable to find an addon that advertises what I'm thinking of.

    Minimal implementation:
    - scan calendar at login for unaccepted invites, and open a notice frame if any are found
    - show a button that opens the calendar to the currently shown invite

    Other ideas:
    - scan calendar either at regular intervals or - ideally - by catching calendar-related events (if they exist)
    - show invite details on the popup frame
    - show accept/reject buttons on the popup frame
    - show previous/next buttons and a count to allow the user to page through multiple pending invites (when applicable)

There was a heated debate between Zidomo and Ammo in this thread around a week ago, but it was more about being able to see what you were broadcasting than about being able to see what others are broadcasting.

Might be nice then if IA could run off of spell ID's instead of names. I guess that would make it require a lot more work to set up the defaults though.

I really see no point to having a lib for this. If there was a need, a lib would have been made. More specifically, there's no need for a common format... if an addon needs to mine the data, just do it for yourself.

Yes, because what I really want is each of my half-dozen addons having something at all to do with quests loading its own unique database of info on 14,000 quests into memory.

Sounds like time to start thinking about producing a quest database library that quest addons can plug into.

That's one of the features that I've always wished that Blizz would add to the addon API, assuming it means what I think it means.

I'm a bit confused as to why you'd pass a table as an argument to GetQuestsCompleted(), unless it's to force the caller to manage the table that GetQuestsCompleted() populates.

I still have a few addons that do that, but I don't know if any are Curse hosted. I think TourGuide is one that likes to put a readme file at the top level.

Edit: Oops, I meant LightHeaded - not TourGuide!

Try /drdamage or /drd. I'm sure there's an option to restore the minimap icon.

If all else fails, locate the DrDamage.lua file(s) somewhere under your WTF folder (NOT your AddOns folder!) and delete or rename it/them while the game is not running in order to reset the settings to default.

I'm guessing that the issue is that people and automatic updaters often blindly unzip addons directly into the Inteface/AddOns folder. Putting addon-specific files at that level causes unwanted and/or unmanageable clutter, and also causes conflicts if authors use generic file names like readme.txt.
