I know this may be a bit misplaced but do you think you can add "minimap-skinning" as well?
    Would be awesome! :)

Edit: Oh ups, you wanted to watch slots, hmmm probably worth a request for XRS.

ok so completely different addon =(... is there a way to put mana (or all power bars) into a grid layout? i currently have mine flipped horizontal and stretched out a tad bit to look more like a ctraid frame, and if i could get power bars on the frames that would just be icing on the cake.

I was (or I still am) writing a module for grid that allows you to create as much indicators as you wish (this also includes mana-bar).
But lately I've not worked much on it, just a bit out of time. (I'd say its 50% complete to go into public testing)

    posted a message on Links
Well, I've writen a little "module" for links, which adds equip-compare support into it (You don't need EQCompare, it is using Blizzards code)...

Everything is dynamicly created as done by Links. You can disable compare tooltip by presseng alt when opening a link. (Can be chanced in Links options)
(I'm also working on an option to disable alt-behavior of Links itsself.)

Would be nice, if someone could upload this to the SVN, since I don't have access. :)

I may be wrong, but Links doesn't seem to do anything with Blizzard's new default equip-compare.
On option to use Blizzard eqCompare as default when opening an item tooltip woulb ne nice

But I didn't start writing anything yet and I don't think I'm going to, playing WoW is just more fun than coding atm...

posted a message on [Brainstorming] Jewelcrafting mod
    Well,

after playing The Burning Crusade for some time and gathering some of these new "socket-ed" (thats the right word?) items I found myself kind of lost searching on www.thottbot.com for the right compilation of gems...

Thus I had the idea to make a flash-tool which should be connected to a database like www.buffed.de. You should be able to select an item (by itemid) and then get a list of suitably gems. (from an internal saved list)

Well, this idea didn't completly satisfy me...
    ...
...hm, why not make this an InGame mod?! :)

Here are my ideas so far:
    - Select item from bag/bank or any itemdb mod
[First question, do I have to scan tooltips to get available sockets?]
    - Open a window for this item, showing its stats and gem bonus
    - Display a list of gems that fit into the available slots
[This list would have to be maintained by the mods internal database]
    - List should be sortable by name, (level), socket-type and bonus (Also searchable? Unsure here)
    - Clicking on a gem will place it into the rigth slot (or ask if not clear which to take)
    - Possibility to save templates (item + equiped gems) to local savedvariables (and delete ^^)

Well, that were my ideas so far, post your comments, what do you think should be added? ;)

Perhaps enchanting support? Seperate enchanting and jewelcrafting into two seperate modules (like cartographer) for both would need an internal database of available gems/enchants...

PS: Keep in mind, that this is ONLY brainstorming yet, no coding done yet and no coding will start until my examinations are finished! ;)

PPS: My suggested name(s) would be "Gemanyser" or "Slot-Mashine". ;-)
