Your current build is incompatible to the current build of epeen. If i have both addons activated
antagonist is writing the memory full (100 mb addon memory) Error message was something with stack. I can support you with detail error message if you are interested. I dont know which addon make the mistake. the old antagonist (version r29936) is working fine with the current epeen build.
Thanks in advance
I downloaded epeen today to check this out and after disabling Antagonist I still recieved errors. However the error changed to a savedvariables error. Epeen created some 6k lines of nesting tables in it's SV file. So I decided it was something on Epeen's side that was screwing up.
In Antagonist-Options.lua on line 15 you define a local variable 'ops', and then proceed to use 'opts' throughout your code. I believe this makes 'opts' a global variable. I changed 'ops' to 'opts' and epeen loaded without any problems.

If a lot of people dont even use the built-in LFG/LFM interface then I dont think you'll actually get many people using an addon such as this, thus defeating the purpose.
I've been having a lot of problems with casting bars showing up reliably. They sometimes show up. They sometimes don't. For example, yesterday we were killing the Shade of Aran in Kharazan. WitchHunt was showing me all the spells he was casting. He casts fireballs, frostbolts and various other common spells almost constantly, so the witchhunt spell alerts was pretty spamalicious. In contrast, I think I saw maybe 2 or 3 cast bars during the whole fight.
For the record, I do have the target only option turned off. (In the above example, I did happen to have him targetted the whole time.) I have not made any option changes with the filters or the other things that seem to relate to what gets displayed. I have only changed options on where and how things get displayed.
I've also had a few people who use my UI post similar findings. Are there any known interactions with other add-ons that could be causing this type of behavior? Are other people seeing this at all? Any ideas?
Im a bit stumped as to why you would be seeing this. So far I haven't really noticed this bug. My guildmates (my direct feedback) who use Antagonist haven't said anything about this to me. I'll take your word for it.
As I dont raid kara due to time restrictions, I'll my guildmate to turn on debug on the Shade of Aran fight and tell me what he sees.
- Added Waterfall support. /ant gui to access the GUI.
- Changed dewdrop console command. Now /ant dropdown.
- Require new localizations. (marked with a --LOCALIZE at the end of the strings in the locale files, please post on the forum thread).
This seems to happen with Dewdrop as well as Waterfall.
In a list of toggle objects which extend into a scroll frame, when a value is toggled Waterfall and Dewdrop reset the view to the top of the list. An example is the Filter lists in Antagonist which contain a large table of spells which can be toggled to be shown when detected. Download Antagonist and see for yourself, my explanation isn't that great.
I have a little question and maybe it's silly, maybe it's obvious, maybe it's been asked a zillion time, but well i want to know.
Since my lvl60 i think i could count the number of time i saw some bars showing. Is there a distance limit, do i need to have my ennemies as a target? Can it pick information from players around me?
I also have witchunt and it works great to detect casted spells but nothing shows for antagonist, is it intended?
Do you have targetonly option on? If so then only your target's spells will be shown. If it is off then your combat log is parsed for spell detections. Witchunt parses the combat log also. So if its not in the log then Ant cant start a timer for it unless it was cast by your target (seperate events are fired for target).
Sounds a bit like HostelBar. But I scrapped that project in favor of Antagonist + Chronomter. For tracking your enemy castbars and the buffs/debuffs you cast.
is there a replacement for chronometer that's in the trunk?

Might give it a go if theres enough interest :)

Just grab the new Antagonist.

Is that correct?
In that case, if he is nearby, UNIT_SPELLCAST_START can be used to track when your hunter buddy lay down the frost trap.
If I ever write Ant 2.0 (probly under a different name), I might include friendly tracking. As an optional module of course.

Thanks for that. Just a stupid typo on my part.

Why does chronometer need a replacement?
It works perfectly here.
