    The problem is it isn't implemented correctly in it's current state which is why I was trying to help Kirk fix it, and I don't think anyone understands the way the code works enough to call it an incredibly bad idea. You can blame me for that incredibly bad idea. Sorry Kb.

    This is where it stands, Blizzard REQUIRES (yes REQUIRES) you to include a fontsize when you call SetFont. There's no way around that, that i know of at least and i'm fairly new to the language. The problem currently that is causing ClearFont to not work entirely correctly for ChatFrame's and the reason we were trying to figure out a fix is Kb is currently superimposing the font onto the frame via the ChatFontNormal system instead of telling the frame itself what font to use.

    This is the fix i've proposed but I do not know how to code. CF2 needs to hook the font systems to where when the user chooses to change his font size it records it in the clearfont database... If we can do that simple thing then when we call ChatFrame1-7:SetFont we can just tell it to use their pre-recorded size for that frame.

    I'm certain Kb would appreciate it if anyone knows how to do that :)

    Am i the only one that uses alternate button scales? I gave JJ my saved var's the other day and still wondering why nobody else has this problem.

    I can start with a completely fresh WTF and create 4 or 5 bars, and change the bar scale to 0.7. I log out and back in or reload my ui and some of my bars are still 0.7 some are now scaled to 1.0 (the numbers dont change just the visual scale) and some bars are 1.0 scale with some of the buttons in that bar still scaled to 0.7 and i have to go into the bar configuration of each to get it to rescale to what it's supposed to be. Now by that i mean i just hit bar configuration and the scale applies. It's like infinibar isn't applying the bar scale like it's supposed to upon reload or login.

    If this is already supported somewhere and i'm not seeing it my apologies. I'm looking for a square border texture that i can use in eePanels i understand i'll have to edit the lua to add it but wondering if anyone has a border texture that literally just gives the eePanels background a different color square around it.

    The current way i do this is make 1 panel of one color then another panel on top of it same size minus 1 or 2 pixels and sit it on top of it to give it a border effect. Sort of the same way stroking does in photoshop. Any ideas?

    Have a couple of bugs for ya in case you didn't already know about them :)

    1. Bars aren't saving their scale upon reloadui you have to set them all back to the scale you wanted
    2. Once a bar is configured with a certain amount of buttons if you add another button and reapply your layout to get it to show it wont until you reloadui.

    JJSheets, possible bug, or maybe it's simply my overexhuberant use of the bars already :P. Have 28 buttons i have setup that are set as a stance bar so they switch based on my druid stances and everytime i switch i get a 1-2 second pause while it's shoving in those buttons.


    Also, did you accidentally leave a debugging mode turned on? i'm getting all this spell data everytime i cast something (cdspl21: 504007.66, 1, 1) bunch of stuff like that?

    I've waited for many many moons for this level of customization. Thank you! Oh also, I would say, we could use a unit frames mod with this level of customization too! CreateFrame() is a wonderful thing, when given a waterfall config and on the fly creating your unit frames would be simply uber :)


    Quick suggestion added: can you possibly add a text substitution that can pull spell rank so we can added a text sub that says like Rank [rank]

    There are a few things that need to be fixed to work like the other "tabs", i love how ya'll have done them as just small frames with lower draw levels, however, the browse tab on the AH ui isn't set right, nor are any of the tabs on the merchant windows, they appear above the window unlike their brethren tabs which appear and stay below the window to create a unison effect.

    Having a bit of trouble with SCT/SCTD, i'm able to see incoming damage, messages and all that good stuff modified by SCT however, my outgoing damage from SCTD isn't working for some reason, it's enabled and all that good stuff but it's just not working. Anybody have any ideas?

    What's your opinion on my idea, do you think what i'm going for could potentially take up far too much memory since Blizz loads everything into memory instead of reading from the disk, I wanted to have a giant searchable database of Items as well as a Quest Database, so you could whisper someone like questsearch "The Name of the Quest" and it would pull up details for that quest including LOC's (if stored) of the mobs to kill.

    I don't believe this has ever been done and I would like to write it, I am absolutely brand new to the whole ACE/LUA movement but have experience in many scripting languages. I always loved the EQ bot that you could whisper for item links, etc, to lookup data.

    What I want to know is how protected is the data from mod to mod, ie, can I in my own addon access ItemSync or ItemsMatrix or Lootlink what-have-you's data and spit out search results. I would not want to rewrite my own because there are so many out there, but now that variables are saved seperately it would at least be semi nice to write a watcher to grab every item link it ever see's.

    Thoughts? Don't flame me too much :)
