* An AH mod that lets me "ignore" auctions from certain players. It really pisses me off when I see auctions that are blatently trying to scam someone, like a player that puts up a number of full stacks of an item at a price, and then puts up a 1/4 stack of the same item for the same price. I'd like to be able to just ignore this dickhead and make sure he never gets my money, even if his price for some other item is reasonable.

I would LOVE this addon :)

EDIT: Newest ui addition to ui.worldofwar.net:

http://ui.worldofwar.net/ui.php?id=2958

Tada lol

Note to self: More research on initial post, less EDIT tags :)

If you like the way MSBT looks, use MSBT.

If you like SCT, use SCT.

And if i like the optimizations of SCT, and the looks of Msbt, i shouldnt try and get the best of both worlds ?

Well Gray, perhaps its just force of habbit, but i can already tell now ( after less than 10 minutes of testing) that for me to use this ill need to have the same animation as Miks battle text have. Im sure i could get used to the ones you have suplied but as im soo used to the one he has (*1) that shifting over will take more getting used to than is worth the effort.
Too much to ask for this implemented as this is by far the best one for me as a healer?

*1 He has this animation style where my heals on targets other than myself start top right of my character and goes in a semi circle way down to buttom right.

EDIT: You know, scratch all that i just wrote, im realising that if i just tweak it enough i can get it to a pretty close faxcimily. And since i like meddling with ui's, guess ill give it a go anyway lol

That's a pretty loaded question Friendly. Do you mean on load memory? Memory build up overtime? Speed?

SCT 5.0 itself is about 30% smaller in core code compared to 4.131, thus its memory is about 30% smaller too. However, SCT5 is now making use of Ace2, CompostLib, and ParserLib to gain much better overall performance. On load up, SCT memory reported by WarmUp is much larger than before. However, after the first garbage collection all that used up memory is regained (duplicate embbed libraries, localizations not used, etc...)

I have been doing lots and lots of performance profiling on SCT using LuaProfiler, tekSupport, etc...That is why there are lots of new performance options for SCT. You can turn off Custom Events if you don't need them (this is the single most performance impacting part of SCT). You can turn on "Light Mode" in 1.12 that removes almost all parsing (at the cost of a few features). There very well could be places SCT 5.0 can still use perforamance tweaks (and feel free to point them out if you see them), but it has been completely rewritten with performance in mind from 4.131.

Once thing about the actuall performance of the animated text. It is VERY dependent on your current FPS. If you have a slow machine, or are in a huge raid, SCT can only animate the text relative to your FPS. To some people, this general "slow" down they attribute to SCT, since SCT is obvisouly going slower on their screen. This is not really the case. SCT is just displaying as best as it can given your current FPS. Turning on "FPS Independent" mode helps to lessen this effect a lot, but it can make the text much more choppy.

How all this relates to MSBT I have no idea. I installed the mod once to see what all was taken from SCT and have never touched it since. That mod could very well be geting ready for a similar overhaul.

Well i pretty much meant what you said up there ^^ :)

I dont need very fancy features or options so the lighter the better. And i must say, without having really tried out sct5 yet, ill definately give it a spin due to you being so aware of memory buildup, using ace2 and so on.

First you need to download the command line svn client from http://subversion.tigris.org/ either install it or download the zip file and extract the "bin" directory.

Next download perl which you can get from http://www.activestate.com/Products/ActivePerl/

Then open up the update script in any text editor and edit the line that says
my $svn = 'svn.exe';

to point to where you installed svn to.

Next you will need to creat a list of your addons that you want to be updated. I had them already downloaded into a folder so i just opened up a command window and typed
cd *insert your folder where you have your addons that you want to update*
dir /b >addons.txt

which will create a text file with a list of all your addons.

Next open up that text file, you will notice it will look a little like this *note this is just a snippet of mine*
addons.txt
idChatButtons
idChatChannelnames
idChatEditboxArrows
idChatScroll
idChatTimestamps
Mendeleev
MobHealth

See that line that says "addons.txt"? remove that line so it will then look sorta like this
idChatButtons
idChatChannelnames
idChatEditboxArrows
idChatScroll
idChatTimestamps
Mendeleev
MobHealth

Now we need to get the svn urls for our addons which you will have to do yourself so now our addons.txt will look something like this
idChatButtons http://svn.wowace.com/root/trunk/idChatButtons
idChatChannelnames http://svn.wowace.com/root/trunk/idChatChannelnames
idChatEditboxArrows http://svn.wowace.com/root/trunk/idChatEditboxArrows
idChatScroll http://svn.wowace.com/root/trunk/idChatScroll
idChatTimestamps http://svn.wowace.com/root/trunk/idChatTimestamps
Mendeleev http://svn.wowace.com/root/trunk/Mendeleev
MobHealth http://svn.wowace.com/root/trunk/MobHealth

Now save addons.txt and copy it into the same directory as the update script and run the script, everything should work fine but i typed this up in 10 minutes at 8 am with no sleep so something could be wrong but this is what i did to get it to run :).

edit: darnit knew i missed something *stumbles around for some coffee*

You mind if i love you in a very heterosexual way ?
