I tried the latest Dominos and it does seem to fix the 'buttons trigger action bar 2 instead of action bar 1' bug - it's certainly not recurred in 8K of honor's worth of BGs today :)
I seem to be misunderstanding something here tho - this started off as a 'lightweight' bar mod so I assumed it would shun it's own keymappings in favour of the stand Blizz ones (I seem to recall when Bartender did it's own mappings it went HORRIBLY wrong).
The fact that I have to rebind keys to make 'paged' bars work is a bit of a grind - 95%+ of users will have "1" thru "=" defaulted on their action bar and expect those keys to trigger the spells located within that bar whatever ACTUAL bar is paged into it - either by Shift-2,3,4,5,6,7 or 'Stealth' or 'Shadowform' or whatever.
That's basically how bars should work - at least IMO
If I have to map diff keys to diff bars I don't need to page that bar in to hit the key for it!!!
I'm probably missing something tho...

I suspect it has something to do with having Bar 2 foremost (Shift-2 - swapped into Bar 1's space) when you zone or login - but I can't reliably reproduce the error so there's perhaps more to it (a taint error or combat issue - or vanish issue as it's only happened on my Rogue so far)...
Mid-PvP it's just frustrating to have to "/console reloadui" and the "killing people with a fishing rod" thing doesn't always work that well - so I'm going to have to switch ActionBar mods for the time being...
If a fix does appear I'll gladly switch back - I'll keep an eye here for a while...

I had that happen to me as well, what I did (and god I hate to recommend this to anyone) was delete my saved variables. And redid it from scratch for all characters. Somehow my SVs had gotten corrupted and I had the same issue. Though mine was a little different. Bar1 = normal attacks. Bar2 = healer stuff. Shift2 to bar2, skills of bar1 were used. I shift back to bar1, couldn't get bar2 back at all lol. SV deletion did the trick for me then.
A "/console reloadui" fixes the problem - it's only recurred once so far so I'm just living with it for now - but the fact a reload fixes it suggests it's not a savedvariables issue??

Mid-EOTS all-out-fragfest I discovered I'd managed to equip my Fishing Rod and was making reasonably healthy HKs with it regardless :)
Aside from the shame caused to 2 Hunters and a Prot (WTF!) Paladin - I switched my gear back thinking I'd gotten 'fat fingers' and headed off - only to discover I was once again hitting things with the Rod.
My Fishing Rod and other tradeskills are on Bar2 - Bar1 was visible but hitting keys (no modifier - just 1-=) was causing Bar2 actions to trigger.
BG Ended and as I type, I'm still seeing Bar1 but standard keys (1-=) are triggering Bar2 - no modifiers are set - I've no idea what 'set states' are and I've never touched em - 'Rogue' bar is Bar7 so I've NO idea how Bar2 is being considered 'foremost' - switching using Shift-1,2,3,4,5,6,7 makes no difference - Bar2 triggers regardless...
My guess is that the mod perhaps go into a kerfuffle when I Vanished mid-combat - possibly a taint error?
I'll keep using it for now - just going to install 1.2.7 too - if I can set anything to debug this should it reoccur, I will ofc.
p.s. Did a /console reloadui (after installing 1.2.7 which should load the new mod?) and whilst Bar1 was visible BEFORE the reload - Bar2 was visible AFTER the reload!
Switching bars after the reload (Shift-1) fixed the problem so I guess it's perhaps a sync issue between what the bar is showing and what the mod THINKS the bar is showing?

On my Pally it works OK - abeit being a bit too complex for it's own good IMO (see below) - but on my Priest I just can't make it do the things I'd like - and I don't ask much!
I can't seem to buff myself with Divine Spirit - only other party/raid members (which is a bizarre oversight unless I'm missing something!)
I generally avoid party buffs (lots of PvP or casual PuG 5 mans) but I can't seem to talk it into doing those reliably either!
I'm guessing ZOMG has been designed for 25-man raiding - which I don't do and don't intend to do - the ability to request buffs, learn buffs etc. is kinda superfluous to me - but the abillity to buff myself with one of my 3 basic buffs would be brilliant :)
Is there a FAQ/Wiki anywhere to cover the "learning" thing in a bit more detail - because I obviously use a variety of Blessings in PvP (Kings - then Salvation - then Kings again and so on) and it's attempts to learn from me are just getting annoying :)
A simple 'how to set ZOMG to work like Smartbuff' would probably be great as a LOT of people use/used SB - if I manage to fathom it I may even write one!

When mod authors stop writing sloppy code which leaks memory and causes performance issues - they just might - but those authors have started something and you're going to have to live with it for now :)
The whole issue of memory usage only arose when people started to have performance problems and started using tools like PerformanceFU to work out which of their mods/frameworks was to blame (and yes, I know that can be mis-read too)
You can't expect them just to start taking this stuff 'on trust' anymore - and making comments as you did about Blzzard's code being shitty is just going to start people asking for mods which don't use it - and the cycle will run and run.
For me, the biggest performance issue is the number of mods overall - as it seems Blizzard's writing of the savedvariables/luas is AGONISINGLY slow - meaning that the more mods you have, the longer it takes to relog (largely irrespective of how much data they're saving - even tiny files take FAR too long).
The cat out of the bag as far as some of the more technical aspects of mods are concerned now - whether it's misinformed or not...

The existing config menus for each bar could easily be extended to include 'show keymapping' and 'show macro names'
A slash command could set the default bar length - or it could be another 'right click' config menu option.
What else do you need!? :)
p.s. As a code I HATE - HATE - HATE writing menus. They generally take 3 times longer than writing the code which actually does the clever stuff - I hate em :)

You could just click the Reset Data button in the Recount window.
I could just add up all the numbers in the combat log and save myself using a damage meter - it was just a suggestion for a useful feature tho - tbh :)

There is allready an option to delete all recorded data before logout, you should find it in the main window.
I can see options to clear on new group, new instance and new raid - but not on logout (and certainly some of my toons have large recount.lua files in their savedvariables directories)...
I'm running the latest version available to WAU - 75926 - is there a later version I'm missing perhaps?

I still think that putting this into Cartographer would be a nice feature - it IS the ultimate mapmod - it already does the 'combat coloring' and 'groupnumbering' - making the map more readable would be even better surely?
Put another way - I'd really like a lot more people to be able to SEE the BG minimap - that way less people will stand around being useless ;) :)

I can't think of a case where I'd want to keep this data personally - and the reading/writing of savedvariables is the 'big slowdown' of switching chars (and the reason I don't use mods like Armory or Auctioneer).
Is there an option to clear data at logoff - if not, could there be?? :)

A balancing act has to be struck between 'lightweight' and 'functional' of course - the clever part will be ensuring Mangos (or Weighted Companion Bars!) has 'just enough' features to operate as a useful actionbar mod without ANY bloat whatsoever - IMO.
I could be that Mangos will eventually have all the cleverness of Bongos - but it will be so modular that you simply don't install the bits you don't want.
First things first tho - what is in the minimum featureset for an actionbar mod that Mangoes doesn't have right now?
All I can think of is the option of putting binding and macro names on the buttons (given that the standard Blizzard bars do this anyway!).
Tooltip suppression is - to be honest - something your tooltip mod should do (TipTac will suppress tooltips in combat for example).
Variable length actionbars is a quite complex feature used by relatively few people (G15 owners and those people who MUST put everything in a big, ugly back bar at the bottom of their screen!) - and by necessity makes returning to the regular Blizzard bars (or another bar mod) much harder - I'm not sure it counts as 'lightweight'...
Let's not push Tuller into making this a new version of Bongos just yet eh?
