You are wrong benumbed. I have reported you to the administrator's. The only changes you made were to make it compatible with Ace2 Libraries. You did not take examples.

You did not contact Moongaze. You did not give any credit ( the center sphere code is moongaze's -exactly- you stole it.)

We know the truth. You bloated the memory usage by about 550k and have fewer features than the current build of LunarSphere which includes a GUI not chat commands. Smart people will use LunarSphere. It is full of features and well documented and supported.

Hope you can sleep with yourself at night.

    We at LunarSphere can.

I am appalled and shocked at the WoWAce community.

The source code for this mod was stolen from the Author Moongaze and posted here at the WoWAce Forums as the property and original design of one Somnolent.

The entire LunarSphere project can be found here with all its documentation from inception including the original artwork designed and developed by Moongaze.

There is a new addon that poped up in the Ace community. It's called "Sphere" and is a total copy of my addon. The author changed the code around to work with Ace2 (and somehow got the memory usage up to 880k?!) They decided to retain the original artwork, and actually kept most of my code. They removed my settings screen (and replaced it with chat commands) and ... what the hell, I'm so pissed right now.

The author's name is Somnolent and he failed to email me and let me know. Failed to even post anything on the message boards. Sadly, his is out in the public, slightly broken and pretty much ALMOST at the level of Stage 2. Their sphere code is exactly mine. Sadly, Ace's forums are down right now, and the author did not include their email address in their source code, but I'm going to seriously go after this guy and bug the hell out of them when I'm given the opportunity.

It is one thing to borrow someone's code to make something better or different than the original author giving the author credit and asking if its ok to do so before hand. It is another thing to take someone's code, call it your own and post it as an original piece of work.

Somnolent neither contacted Moongaze via the forums nor asked for permission in email to take the code and modify nor did Somolent give any credit to Moongaze for the original Code.

I am a Senior Beta Tester for LunarSphere. I have been working with that mod since the end of Stage 1. It is currently in Stage 4 with 4 more stages planned before a public release, though many people are using and testing it now from Moongaze's LunarSPhere Forum.

I challenge the WoWAce Community to recognize this as stolen work, and the Administrator's of WowAce to remove the download of this mod and give proper credit where credit is due.

Somnolent also owes Moongaze an apology for stealing the work Moongaze has been working hard on for many many months.

I fear no flames from anyone here as the entire LunarSphere project is documented at MoongazeAddons.

You need only take the courage to follow the link I have posted read for yourself, and see. Moongaze and I will both be contacting the Administrator's of this forum and the downloads to have the stolen mod removed.

You have done a disservice to the mod community on a whole Somnolent by stealing someone else's work and calling it your own.

    Sincerely,
