Quoting myself here on an older post, I did some testing recently and here's what happens: on health loss, agUF health bar will update with a delay of 0 to 2 seconds. I'm not sure what is the maximum delay, but I've definitely seen it bigger that the global cooldown. On health gain the update is always instant.
It's easy to test with another UF as a reference and self-buffing with a health increase buff. In my case, I used oUF side-by-side with agUF and self-buffing with BoK, cancel the buff, rinse and repeat. So when I say 0-2 seconds delay or instant, it's relative to oUF update speed.
It feels like it updates on a schedule rather than as soon as a health update occurs. Unfortunately I've been looking through the code but couldn't find anything that might cause this.
It's a big issue if you want to use agUF for healing, health update delays bigger than the global cooldown are significant. I'd appreciate to hear any suggestions as to why it happens, and fixes are even more appreciated. :P
I noticed that too. First I thought it's just me, but obviously it's not. I'm not a healer, but this is still somewhat bugging me. A fix would be cool.
I hope this is the right thread for these kinds of things. I have a request that would make ag_UF the perfect unit frame AddOn for me. It's very minor, but it's a feature I loved when I used X-Perl.
You know, X-Perl can filter the buffs/debuffs that you cant cast/dispell. So it would only show the ones you can do something with. Yea, I know, ag_UF has that already. It's great. But theres a small thing left that ag_UF doesnt currently support that kinda acts like that. If the filter option is enabled, ag_UF doesnt show the debuffs I created (Pyroblast, for example). I would really love to have that. I dont even think its that hard to do, so I will browse through the code later on and try to add it by myself, but since I'm pretty new to lua, I guess I will probably fail, thats why I'm posting here. This would be so awesome, seriously :D Other than that -> best unit frames ever.
Hm, it looks like my post was not so understandable. Actually, I was talking about minimap buttons who would all behave the same. Not the textures. Like, see. I got a square minimap, but some of my buttons still move in a circle around it. Also, some buttons seem to have a larger radius than others.
Well, I noticed that pretty much all my minimap buttons look a bit different. Since I'm pretty much a freak, I would like them to look all the same. So my idea for an addon is basically something you can create minimap buttons with, which execute commands (like /atlas) and maybe also the possibility to hide others. I dont know how far something like this would be possible, since I'm not that much into .lua yet. If I would be, I would give it a try myself probably. But something like this would be awesome for sure.
