Yes, you can do this in three easy steps. In a custom bar group, add a bar for the cooldown you want to see (I tested it on a priest with Psychic Scream, so I created a bar for that spell) and enable Show When Ready. The bar now shows all the time.

Next, create a new condition and, on the Tests tab, select All Cooldowns, enable the test, enter the spell name, and set the Time Left test to "Less Than 10.0 Seconds" (at the top of the tab, the Summary for my test had two lines: Condition Name: Psychic Scream! and All Cooldowns: "Psychic Scream", Less Than 10.0 Seconds). This condition is true both when the spell's cooldown has less than 10.0 seconds remaining and when the spell is off cooldown.

Finally, go back to the custom bar group entry for the cooldown and under Special Effects enable Hide and False with the Hide Condition set to the condition you just created. Now the bar is visible only when that condition is true, which means you get a ready bar and the last few seconds of the cooldown, as requested.

I was doing this before to create a sort of combo icon that displays the buff time when I have something active, then the cooldown once the buff is gone, and then a ready icon for when it is not on cooldown. However, as a DK, cooldowns on rune abilities can be tricky, specifically, Pillar of Frost. This can be on cooldown 2 ways, one if the abilitiy was used in the last 60s, and one if you have no frost runes. Now if I create the standard cooldown bar from the setup tab, it correctly shows the cooldown if it has been used the last 60s, and disregards any cooldown that appears on the ability if I don't have any frost runes available. I have gone through every possible condition and setting to get this behavior in a custom bar, but every way I've tried assumes the ability is on cooldown when I have no frost runes available as well.

How do I get Pillar of Frost to show as off cooldown similar to the default cooldown bars, ignoring runes, is my basic question?

No, it's just right-click. And it does work to bring up the menu. But you only get a menu on the player and target frames. No others will give you a menu when right-clicked.

Pet frame as well. Anything that has a normal menu, brings that up, or else it brings the rock config up on a frame like, targetoftarget.

okay, so i really like how quartz will display my dots and things on my target. i realize it might be a bit outside the scope of quartz, but it would be cool to have a "virtual" death timer for a target who will die from dots without any intervention.

so for example, i blast a mob with pyroblast, then follow it up with a fireball. they have the pyro effect and my fireball crits so they also have a dot from the fire crit. by this time, they're pretty low on health and taking pretty good damage for the next few ticks -- enough damage to kill them unless they somehow get a heal. so what i'd like is a timer that shows an estimate of how long before they're dead so i can decide if i should just take a couple hits from this mob and save the mana, or do i need to hit em with something else.

anything like that exist? is quartz the best place for that kind of functionality?

Anyone know a decent replacement with similar functionality?

Could you not read Nimbal's post fully? He tells you what to use as a replacement.

Pitbull and Perl both have this now. As, I'm sure, ag_UF does. Not exactly an answer to your question, but those are options you could consider.

Yea I use pitbull for it now, just seems weird that only my pet is the one using the pitbull cast bar.

Am i the only one that uses alternate button scales? I gave JJ my saved var's the other day and still wondering why nobody else has this problem.

I can start with a completely fresh WTF and create 4 or 5 bars, and change the bar scale to 0.7. I log out and back in or reload my ui and some of my bars are still 0.7 some are now scaled to 1.0 (the numbers dont change just the visual scale) and some bars are 1.0 scale with some of the buttons in that bar still scaled to 0.7 and i have to go into the bar configuration of each to get it to rescale to what it's supposed to be. Now by that i mean i just hit bar configuration and the scale applies. It's like infinibar isn't applying the bar scale like it's supposed to upon reload or login.

Yea, I get this too. For me, I set a bar to scale 1.5, then /rl, and when i log back in the first 11 buttons are back to 1.0 scale, but the last one remains 1.5x. The same thing fixes it for me too.

Also, Locked has asked me for my modified Square Onyx Gloss texture for cyCircled. It is attached in a zip file. Simply put it in your cyCircled\textures folder, replacing the original. This version makes the Onyx buttons stand out more when checked.

Thanks. It seemed a bit to bright for me, so I toned it down a bit myself, but it is still very visible.

Also, is there anyway that debuff highlighting could be added similar to buff highlighting?
    Quote from cncfanatics »

Buff highlighting will make an actionbutton light green if the buff is on you, debuff buttons will make the button light red if the debuff is on the target

Well, I too use cyCircled, and I can tell you it really depends on the skin you choose. I myself modified my local copy of Square Onyx Gloss so that it would show up better. Specifically I modified OnyxActive so that it highlights the border in addition to the tiny triangle up top. I'd commit it, but then I'd have another thing to support. :)

Could you upload it here so we could use it without support? By your description, it is how I want buff highlighting to work with CyCircled.

Yea, the paging lag is the only thing from stopping me from completely. I can deal with no pet bar, making macros for it will do, but the 1-2 seconds of lag everytime I page is making me lag too much to use in a combat situation.

If enough people yell about it, I will also make the pet bar available (I hear some of you non Hunters/Warlocks would like to make use of it).

/y This is me yelling to make the pet bar available

Whe using a CyCircled skin, InfiniBar no long seems to trim the corners like it used to.

And when using this with CyCircled, can the buff coloring be change to change the color of the button like it does when it is equipped, instead of like it is being casted?
