I've been using kgpanels for months now, but I've never been able to get the profiles to work properly. Am I doing something wrong?
I don't have problems with profiles in other addons. On my main, I have her name specific profile active. My alts have each of their own name specific profiles selected. When I make a change on my main, such as deleting a panel, that panel is gone when I switch toons. I've double checked their profiles, tried many different things over the months to try to work around it, but I can't seem to figure out what the problem is.

Aug 30, 2008Hi! I just tried out this mod last night after using cycircled. The great thing about cycircled was that it would also skin my totem, shield and weapon buff timers from TotemTimers. Anyway to get ButtonFacade to work with TotemTimers too?Posted in: General AddOns

Having some problems trying to get the same behavior with a script in kgPanels that I had in eePanels2. In eePanels2 I have a panel anchored to ChatFrameEditBox and I used the following script to show/hide the panel when the editbox appeared/disappeared:
I didn't use a script for my edit box frame. If you set the panel to parent to the ChatFrameEditBox, the panel will appear and disappear when it needs to do so. I also have my panel anchored to the ChatFrameEditBox.
Apr 24, 2008I think I'm having a similar problem as Nitewolf.Posted in: General AddOns
I made a panel to go under my chat box. I parented the panel to ChatFrame1. So far so good. When I click over to the combat log, the panel disappears, and when I swap back over to my main chat box, the panel pops back up. The problem is with anchoring the panel to my chat box. When I anchor it to ChatFrame1, my panel disappears. I have to re-anchor it to UIParent to get the panel to show again.
Apr 22, 2007I love this addon! One thing I would like to see that I love about AGUF is the roartindon frame layout. As a healer, I like to see the mana bars of the other healers in my party/raid, but the mana/rage/energy bars aren't all that important. They don't need to take up as much space as the hp bars. I would love to either have a layout with smaller mana bars or be able to scale their height.Posted in: Unit Frames
Apr 2, 2007I am having trouble copying the profile from one character to another. After I set up my panels for my shaman (saved under the shaman profile), I decided that panel set up would also work for my hunter. When I went to copy profile from->my shaman profile, it didn't do anything. Also, switching between profiles on a character doesn't seem to do anything.Posted in: General AddOns
+++ nvm. After trying to fix this problem for quite a while this afternoon, it fixed itself after I updated my addons. Everything looks great now!
