Quick question regarding this excellent module - I raid over multiple characters that have different profiles for Grid. Normally, Grid would swap back and forth to their profiles without an issue, but the GridDynamicZoneSwitch swaps the layout to only one set. Is there any way to nest the profiles so that say my mage can have it swap profiles/layouts in a certain way, but my priest swap layouts/profiles in a different way?
Quick question, I've convinced my raid group to look into EPGP as a DKP system option, and I know there was mention made of someone here working on a DKPMon module for it. Was wondering if that was going to be for public release or not, I think we're very interested in the EPGP system, but since we're a guild alliance the addon that is provided won't work for us.
Potentially horrifying concepts about to be introduced:
My guild is toying with a fairly involved system. I personally don't care what they use, as long as we can make it as expedient as possible, and in the interests of doing that, I'd like to see if DKPmon can be adjusted with a custom module to accommodate for their system.
This is how the system goes, and how I'm hoping to handle it:
Everyone rates their personal value of a drop _before_ we actually enter an instance. There are 4 tiers, in order of importance (must have, would like, would hate to see it sharded, and I'll pay dkp for the shard, essentially). However, we still roll and bid dkp. The tiers are assigned dkp values, and we base things loosely on a zero sum system. (points are still given out for boss attempts made to favor the regular progress-oriented raiders). So when I say 'bid DKP', the personal value they've assigned to that item on our message boards is added to their roll, and the raider is unable to alter their personal value the day of the raid (to prevent 'gaming' the system).
So, my questions are this:
Can I (using CSV or some subset thereof) create a table where the DKP cost varies based on who actually won the item? And would it be possible to create a custom module that will bid a preset, unalterable amount based on that table, and add that bid to a roll?
I know this is possibly on of the strangest systems presented yet, just hoping there's some tool out there I can use to get us moving faster through the loot process.
