GFW_Linkerator - allows you to type links, just precede the text with a [ and it will autocomplete. Found on WoWInterface.
autowhiner - tells you when the warrior's taunt was resisted, the mage's polymorph was resisted, etc. Found on WoWUI.
Scrap - similar to the old Sell-O-Matic, but with a "GUI" (a single button on the merchant frame - elegant in its simplicity and the way it blends in naturally with the frame and beats the hell out of slash commands) and, as far as I can tell uses item ids instead of item names (GG, SoM, you just sold all my Heavy Netherweave Bandages because I told you to sell all Netherweave Bandages). By far THE best auto-sell addon I've ever used. Also will add a category to Baggins or a tab to Combuctor for the items that will be auto-sold. Found on Curse.
Ogri'Lazy - if you ever do the "Simon says" daily in Ogri'La, do yourself a favor and pick this up. Lets you record the sequence and keeps track as you enter them back in on the crystal thingy. Found on WoWInterface.
VendorBait - a Tekkub creation! Shows you which quest reward item will sell to the vendor for the most money. Found on WoWInterface.
AzCastBar - "Quartz lite". I've been having issues with Quartz lately and have always been annoyed at the config necessary on ALL the Super-Duper-Ultra-Mega-Uber Customizable addons. Found on WoWinterface.
Engravings - a Tekkub creation! A great replacement for WhoDrop, Whats, Mendeleev, etc and allows you to put your own notes on items. Found on WoWInterface.
FocusFrame - shows the focus frame if you don't have a third-party unit frame addon installed, and I don't because most tend to fall into the category of Super-Duper-Ultra-Mega-Uber Customizable addons that annoy me. Found on WoWInterface.
RedRange - reds out your buttons when you're out of range and blues them out when you don't have enough power. Found on WoWInterface.
tekKompare - a Tekkub creation! Side-by-side tooltips for item comparing. Found on WoWInterface.
TipTac - Tooltip addon because all Ace tooltip addons are Super-Duper-Ultra-Mega-Uber Customizable and annoy me. Found on WoWInterface.
BindPad - makes it easy to bind spells, macros or abilities without the need to use your action bar slots. It can also support up to 42 general and 126 character-specific macros beyond the default 18 general and 18 character-specific macros Blizzard gives us. Simply drag-n-drop an item, spell or macro onto a BindPad slot, click and set a keybind. Incredibly easy to use. Found on WoWInterface.
ControlFreak - a Tekkub creation! The best CC addon ever created and works for any class that has any sort of CC. Found on WoWInterface.
ES_GuildCheck - Prints any changes in your guild roster since your last login to your chat window. Shows you when people have joined, left, levelled up, moved up or down in rank, and if their public or officer note has changed. This is a must-have for any guild leader and I'd highly recommend it for any officer. Found on Curse.
SetTalents - Allows you to set your talents by typing /settalents followed by the number output string from the official WoW talent calculator. This is a must-have for anyone that changes specs on a regular basis and is one I'd highly recommend to anyone who's resetting their talents. Found on WoWUI.
SmartBuff - auto buffing. I would use one of the Ace addons like SimpleSelfRebuff or ZOMGBuffs, but they're incredibly quirky and the authors refuse to add combat buffing (hello, frost mage, Ice Barrier...). Found on WoWInterface.
I love Ace addons, but I hate the trend towards Super-Duper-Ultra-Mega-Uber Customizable addons and away from the "do one thing, do it well, and do it with a minimal amount of code" that the Ace community was founded upon. I've also found the quirkiness of Ace addons sometimes maddening.

- how can i make the boxes color hot pink when i can decurse them? im a mage so i dont need to see anything else
As a fellow mage, I'm going to have to disagree with you there. Sheeping mind-controlled units is not only helpful, it's your job.

Isn't IHML allready doing this? (and it has boss support too).
So where is the improvement over IHML?
That's exactly what I was going to ask! :p
Jun 24, 2008Next patch will introduce a mechanic into the game where, if you're casting a spell and switch equipment, your spell will cancel. This effectively kills any practical use of Spellsurge and also Evocation/Innervate weapon swapping.Posted in: General AddOns
Jun 24, 2008For the past week or so I've been having numerous errors pop up when I first log in. Usually logging out, removing Decursive and re-installing fixes the issue, but not always. I use JWoWUpdater and run with libraries embedded. It's almost gotten to the point where every time I play I have to go through the procedure of logging out, removing Decursive, and re-installing it.Posted in: General AddOns

In addition to the errors captured by BugSack I get a big long error frame from Decursive, here is a link to a screenshot:
Below that is a traditional error-frame, not captured by BugSack, which says, "Decursive installation is corrupted! (DCR_init.lua not loaded)"
Needless to say, I would greatly appreciate any help in fixing this issue. There is at least one other person in my guild who's having the same problem.
Jun 18, 2008_ForgeUser4445 posted a message on Combuctor: All in one, filterable displays for your inventory and bankCurrently, if I click on a side or bottom tab, close Combuctor and re-open it, it opens to the "default" view (All tab on the side and Normal tab on the bottom).Posted in: General AddOns
However, if I enter text into the search field and close/open Combuctor, the text remains. Similarly, if I click any of the colour filters at the bottom to filter by item rarity and close/open Combuctor, the filter remains.
To me, these two behaviours seem at odds with each other. Personally, I think the search field and colour filters should reset when I close Combuctor.
This is a great addon, I hope you haven't abandoned it.

Prat is not being updated anymore, the actual bugs that got posted aren't very likely to get fixed, some of the other errors posted were either from installation errors or outdated libraries.
I'm sure I'm not the only one curious to know what the former Prat Development Team is using for chat addons.

WD and Whats seem to be dead, and Engravings doesn't have a lot of info in it that I want.
Such as tier pieces, cost of pvp items, etc.
The last change to WhoDrop and Whats were 4/20 and 4/21, respectively. 7 weeks is hardly "dead". I don't use Whats, but I know WhoDrop works perfectly.
Engravings has some data in it, but the original intent was to be an addon for you to add your own notes to items, not to be a complete database of where gear comes from.
