    Ah okay. I wonder if Lanerra has had the same issue since she too was looking to have coordinates displayed in oMinimap.

    I keep wondering what exactly is causing this code to cease the world map's zoom out function. Other minimap addons display coordinates without affecting the world map but in the various addons I've been looking at, none of them have a code as simple or straight-forward as the one in this thread. Seems like I may have to go back to SLCoords. :(

    p3lim, have you tried inserting the coordinate code into either pMinimap or oMinimap? If so, have you run into the same problem? This is very puzzling.

    Sorry, I misunderstood you. ^^"

    I have not tried coding pMinimap to show coordinates. I'll give that a shot now and let you know how it goes. Thanks for your help so far, p3lim.

    Update: Okay, I put the coordinate code into pMinimap. I had to set the coordinates to display higher because the "New Mail!" text covered the coordinates.

    If I run pMinimap on its own, I can right click the world map - I go from looking at the Undercity map to the Eastern Kingdoms map.

    If I run pMinimap and Cartographer at the same time, I can't right click the world map. If I run pMinimap and pMap at the same time, I can't right click either.

    Yes, I've tried pMinimap, but I wanted to stick with my modified oMinimap because I'd rather have the envelope than the "New Mail!" text. However, I am not running pMinimap at all - I was referring to your pMap addon. :)

    Right now, my character is standing in the Undercity.

    1) I click M to bring up map. Undercity map is shown.
    2) Right click on the map, but the map does not zoom out.
    3) The coordinates shown on oMinimap flicker very briefly to some other coords.

    I only have this trouble when running oMinimap AND a map addon (I've tested it with Cartographer and your pMap.)

    oMinimap doesn't cause any trouble when it is the only addon enabled.

    I then tried having oMinimap and pMap enabled at the same time - the world map could not zoom out on right-click.

    If running oMinimap and Cartographer at the same time, I also cannot zoom out on right click. Also, if I manually change the zone from the drop-down menu, the map does not change.

    If Cartographer is run on its own, it works fine. The same goes for pMap.

    Thanks for spotting that errant space - I certainly would not have noticed.

    I've been trying to add coordinates to oMinimap, and got them to show as well as be aligned to my liking using the following:

    local coord = self:CreateFontString(nil, "OVERLAY")
    	coord:SetFont(STANDARD_TEXT_FONT, 13, "OUTLINE")
    	coord:SetParent(Minimap)
    	coord:SetDrawLayer "OVERLAY"
    	coord:SetPoint("TOP", 0, 5)

    	self:SetScript("OnUpdate", function()
    		local x, y = GetPlayerMapPosition("player")
    		SetMapToCurrentZone()
    		coord:SetText(format("%.2d,%.2d",x*100,y*100))
    	end)

    Unfortunately, this seems to be affecting the world map. I cannot right-click the world map to zoom out, plus the coords shown on the minimap briefly change to some other coords on during that right-click (too fast to determine what). This does not occur when I have oMinimap disabled. Unfortunately, I only managed to assemble this code modification by looking at p3lim's "pMinimap" - mimicking what he coded to have "New Mail!" text appear instead of an envelope icon. Basically, I have no idea how to remedy this problem and would really appreciate any help. I will resort to reinstalling SLCoords if need be, but I'd much rather have the coords integrated into oMinimap itself.

    The only other modification I've made to the default oMinimap code is to change that drop-shadow to a solid border outline. This modification was made a few days ago and hadn't affected the minimap's performance at all.

    Help would greatly be appreciated!
