Haha :) Well, I am hoping that with patch 3.3, I will no longer need to use Carbonite. Though, your tweaking of Carbonite's quest tracker makes it look a lot more appealing, that's for certain.

At least one problem with my UI is solved, now just to work on everything else. XD Thank you for your insight. :)

I can close out that minimap, but if I hit M, it will bring up Carbonite's full size map (which I'm okay with). However, when I hit M again to close out the full size map, it instead returns to it's smaller "minimap" layout rather than go away completely. D:

Edit: Eh, I made the minimap as small as possible and set the opacity to its lowest setting. I moved it somewhere my mouse doesn't go to so hopefully it won't interfere with any UI elements. I'd like for it to be gone completely but this was the best I could figure out.

Very clean! What are you using for quest tracking? I have yet to find something I like, but yours looks promising.

The quest tracker is Carbonite (check the minimap for the "C" icon). It has had the font changed. Very sharp looking, I think. :)

Edit: What I am wondering is how Carbonite's minimap has been hidden. I cannot figure out how to hide mine and I do not want it to try and overlap the in-game minimap since I'm using pMinimap and Carbonite doesn't co-operate.

posted a message on Hiding rActionBarStyler Buttons
If buttons 6-12 are unused and you are seeing the border outlines, you can select an option to hide unused buttons through WoW's in-game Interface tab - under the action bars section if not mistaken. Sometimes it takes reloading the UI for the change to take effect, or at least this has been the case for myself.

If the 6-12 buttons are used yet you still want to hide them, I am afraid I don't know what one could do.

    Hi diewolf!
You didn't understand me, what I want is to change the keybind button text font.

    Hello there!

To change the keybind button text font, I use rActionButtonStyler. I modified line 26 in rActionButtonStyler.lua for the font face, and changed the font size on lines 95 to 97. However, this may also of course affect any border you have otherwise set. I am not sure of a standalone addon that explicitly changes keybind button text font though.

The addons in the bottom right corner is Skada ( damage meter ) and DXE ( bossmods )

Thank you very much for the reply. :) I'd never heard of DXE before.

What addon(s) are being used for the bottom-right hand corner? The various little "file icons" are something I've never noticed before.

    Overall, very nice UI ^^

There are 2 modes for display: bars and icons. I've mucked around with the icons option, which is nice aside from the fact that I've been unable to get the icons to appear close together. It would be neat to see more customization to this regard. I do like your idea of mouse-overs and key bindings. If you do make a suggestion for the features you've described, please include what I have described here. :) If not, I'll end up making a feature request later on.

I'm glad you found out about the shift-rightclick. :) There ought to be another option via typing in spell names to block them - found in the options menu if not mistaken.

I for one, find it quite rediculous.

I agree when it comes to the censorship.

I'd still love for the EU/US Undead models to be given more options when it comes to character customization. On a larger scale, I think all races aside from BE/Draenei need a revamp. However, the discussion then becomes "new content versus updating old."

Lanacan, I agree with you on that one. I had been talking to guildmates about these graphical changes a while ago.

I'd find it interesting if we (US/EU) could have the option for bones to be shown or hidden. What would be even more interesting would be if we could choose different styles of "decay" in character customization.

Then again, I play on a RP server and love buying gear for their cosmetics and not stats...

posted a message on Attempting to change font in CaelNamePlates
I'll have to apply the changes and give it another shot- I gave up for a bit so my description is from memory.

At first, everything worked; the nameplate was textured, recolored and even the font was set correctly. If I turned the camera away from nameplates (to look at the sky for example) and then returned it, the nameplates would no longer have the texture, font or even coloration. Caellian responded a few hours ago to another person who was asking how to go about changing the font; he explained the exact method I used.

I'll give it another shot - hopefully I won't have the oddity occur.

EDIT: Yes, this still occurs as I've described. Very odd. :\ I also did a UI reload and managed to capture some errors, though they baffle me:

    [20:45:28] Interface\AddOns\caelNamePlates\caelNamePlates.lua:73: <unnamed>:SetText(): Font not set
    [C]: ?
    [C]: in function `SetText'
    Interface\AddOns\caelNamePlates\caelNamePlates.lua:73: in function <Interface\AddOns\caelNamePlates\caelNamePlates.lua:38>
    Interface\AddOns\caelNamePlates\caelNamePlates.lua:164: in function <Interface\AddOns\caelNamePlates\caelNamePlates.lua:89>

I've been fumbling around with this for a while, to no avail. I beseech you, good posters of AddOn HELP! - help me, please!

Right now, the font being used is "NAMEPLATE_FONT" and is mentioned twice in the .lua file as such:

    newNameRegion:SetFont(NAMEPLATE_FONT, 9)
    frame.level:SetFont(NAMEPLATE_FONT, 9)
The custom texture, color and size of my nameplates are all affected when I try to change those lines to the following:

    newNameRegion:SetFont("Interface\\caelNamePlates\\media\\Hooge0655.ttf", 8, "THINOUTLINE")
    frame.level:SetFont("Interface\\caelNamePlates\\media\\Hooge0655.ttf", 8, "THINOUTLINE")

I'm at a loss and unfortunately, nobody has responded to my query left on the addon's comments page yet.

If someone can help me figure out how to replace "NAMEPLATE_FONT" correctly with my own font, I may be able to tweak a few other addons too (which would be icing on the cake!)
