    Most of the lag should be gone with 2.00.00.16

    I definately noticed a difference when resizing the buttons, the lag there seems to be gone - which is great! I do still notice some freeze-lag when clicking the buttons quickly (stunlock, etc), though it's a bit better than it was. I hope there is still room for optimization!

    kinda big is relative :), mines about 1mb for 9 characters with fairly full bags and banks, but i actually need all that info for this to work, i do try to minimize the size of the db wherever possible though.

    Actually, I'd love if you made that feature modular. I think it's a great feature to have in a bag replacement addon, but I personally don't use that feature in my current bag addons either. Modularity would be great!

    Great addon with a lot of potential. I notice the saved variables file is kinda big though (considering I only had one character loaded). I'd also like transparancy options, eventually. Otherwise, I love it. I can't wait to see how it progresses.

    Hey Toadkiller,

    I've noticed a lot of resource use when doing things with AutoBar. One of them is during resizing buttons. My PC will freeze up for a few seconds each time they resize. Also, I noticed last night in PvP that each time I click a button on AutoBar (to use a Healthstone, in this case) my PC freezes up for a few seconds. Hopefully you can fix it!

    Thanks!

    posted a message on SCT 6.0 / SCTD 3.0
    I went ahead and deleted my saved variables and updated from SVN yet again, and everything is now working as it should. I honestly am confused as to why it ever happened in the first place, because I wasn't using SCT at all prior to "installing" it a few days ago, so I had no old saved variables. Either way, I don't know if this is a resolution to a hidden bug or just a fluke occurrence that won't happen again, but I'm happy that it's working properly now. So it looks like we just went around in a big circle here. :P

    Just to add, I did uncomment those lines and it seemed to display no matter what, even prior to deleting my saved variable files. As for my options, I left everything standard but added Buff Fades and Combo Points.

    Thanks again for your time!

    Amadeo, you are talking about SCTD damage right, not the WoW damage that appears over your targets head. I don't have any idea what it could. Not being able to reproduce it is making it impossible for me to track down. Can you try running only SCT/D and make sure its not some mod conflict. When it breaks, can you run these scripts seperately and tell me what each says:

    /script message(SCT.db.profile["SCTD_ENABLED"])
    /script message(SCT.db.profile["SCTD_SHOWMELEE"])
    /script message(SCT.db.profile["SCTD_SHOWSPELL"])

    About shadow damage, its supposed to be black, but that doesn't show up, so dark gray is the best I can do. Sorry if you don't like that =)

    I'm sorry it took so long to get back to you, but I've done what you said. With all mods disabled other than SCT, the issue still happens. And yes, I do mean my damage being dealt to mobs, not incoming damage.

    /script message(SCT.db.profile["SCTD_ENABLED"]) == 1
    /script message(SCT.db.profile["SCTD_SHOWMELEE"]) == 1
    /script message(SCT.db.profile["SCTD_SHOWSPELL"]) == 1

    Not sure if that's what it was supposed to say or do, but I just got 1's for all of them.

    Hope this helps! :/

    Please try getting latest if you are having the issue of SCTD damage turning off. I turned off all code related to PvP to see if that fixes it. If it does, I know its something around that. If it doesn't I'll know its elsewhere.

    Ok, here's my latest info on it using newest SVN without PvP code:

    On initial login, everything works fine. As soon as either the SCT or SCTD Menus are opened, the damage text stops displaying. If I reloadui, everything works ok again, but once that menu gets opened...even if you don't change a thing, it breaks it.

    I'm not sure what the problem is. It seems to be working fine for others in all cases, but they may not be a on pvp server. What happens if you just open up the sctd menu using /sctd menu? Is the Enabled box still checked at the top? What about all the event options? Also, just to be sure make sure you have latest off the SVN.

    And yes, I wouldn't touch the "Enable in PvP" option when on a PvP server.

    Everything in the SCTD menu looks fine...a few times I've gone in there and it's disabled itself, not sure why or how that happened. Anyway, with it enabled, I get Miss/Parry/Block where SCTD info should show, but nothing related to my damage!

    Edit: Not sure if this helps, but I just realized my Deep Wounds shows up there too (I'm a Warrior).

    Amadeo, hk2717, are both of you on PvP servers? Do you have the "Enable WoW Damage while in PvP" options checked? If you do then SCTD won't ever show since you are almost always in PvP mode. I've been trying to think of a way to make the option more understandable, as a lot of people don't seem to.

    If you aren't on a PvP server, I'm not sure what it could be. Any additonal info you can provide or screenshots would be helpful.

    If I check that, I get the typical WoW damage display...but what about using SCTD? I would like to use that regardless if I'm on a PvP server or not! It's too hard to see WoW's damage frame with SCT's messages hiding under it. I know I can move the SCT frame, but that's not really what I want to do...

    Edit: Yeah, I'm on a PvP server. Forgot to clarify. :)

    Grayhoof,

    I love the new profiles and I hope to see more. Setting up SCT can be a little intimidating to lazy people such as myself.

    About the current version on SVN...I'm not seeing any of my outgoing damage against NPCs in SCT/SCTD...and everything appears to be fine on my end. SCTD settings are all normal and the message frame is there and 100% opaque.

    First off, thanks to all of you Ace guys who helped me out with this addon. While it's not much, I couldn't have even come close to creating it without you. That said:

    Hitman is an Ace2 addon that simply displays your melee attack status. This has nothing to do with gaining or dropping combat, it just notifies if you are in autoattack mode or not. It will send messages to MSBT, SCT, or Blizzard's new Combat Text addon if available, and if not, it will create a seperate frame.

    This was made to aid me on my laggy server. Enjoy!

    posted a message on Lightweight Unit Tooltips with Advanced Features!
    I'm wondering if this type of tooltip addon is impossibly hard to code, because it's strange to me that nobody is interested in trying to create an Ace tooltip that isn't so hefty. TipBuddy is by far the best available right now, but it's also gigantic for a tooltip addon. I see many great addons from these forums as well as the typical Interface websites, but I'd love to see something people really want and need to be created, such as these tooltips. :)

    If you think about it, there aren't really any good options anymore. You pretty much have TipBuddy or AF_Tooltip Extreme, which to me, is horrible. There are other tooltip addons, but they don't have coloring or other features that many people want.

    If I had any grasp of how to code or create, I'd just do it myself. :P

    Typical information...Player name, class, rank, guild name, health and mana bar would be nice. Compact frames, everything color coded and easy to read. Reaction based backrounds, easy positioning system...also the option to bind the tip to the mouse cursor while applying an X/Y offset.

    Anyone up for the challenge? You'll be a God among Acemen.
