Wauw, Lyn posts a Unit Frame and people are already drooling :D
Surprise us Lyn ;)
Oh, yeah, haha sorry about that--I knew that it was still a part of the current work. I just love Lyn's shaman interfaces--I know he's paying attention to the things that are important to me, heh.
This may have been requested already, and if so, I apologize (WTB thread search!), but implementing a range check on totems would be great--in arenas I'm often standing at the very edge and now and again I'm juuuuust out of range. (I know, I know, check your buffs, but these buttons are bigger and easier to read.)
You know why I download compilations and then tune them to how I want? Because I work 40-50 hours per week, I take two graduate classes that take about twenty hours per week of my time, I have a wife and family I enjoy spending time with, I have other hobbies like reading and watching movies and playing Wii, and I actually enjoy playing the game when I finally get a chance to sit down at my computer to do it. I have the ability to research how to modify a mod when I see one I like, even though I don't have any formal coding experience; I could, if I wanted, sit down to figure out how to organize all the information on my screen in a way that makes sense; I could if I wanted to handicap myself use Blizz's default ass-ugly UI. Instead, I find a way to utilize someone else's (MUCH APPRECIATED, THANK YOU) hard work and tune it to my needs, without having to spend three straight nights doing it.
This is why I just download the add-ons and don't post here. Jesus
Almost there - went back and changed a few more things but liking this one
OOC
Combat
Anxiously awaiting this new release--I made a few personal change like the ones you did, but you did them so much more elegantly. Thanks for giving the public a way to ride your coattails to beautiful interface.
Something is in conflict with Quartz with the latest revision on the SVN so that Quartz won't load. When I get a chance to do more testing I'll report back.
So, for instance, it will track things like ancestral fortitude and healing way on my focus target if I am a shaman? I will assume it would only work for totems that provide a buff, so searing totem wouldn't be tracked?
I'm on an intel machine, and no change to the problem above--not detecting the installed addons still, even after resetting the addon path and the like. I'll play with it some more and see if I can get it to work.
Thanks! I had gotten so used to this tool that having it even semi-not working is weird! I could do the manual update like I used to, but I'll be patient and make sure you know that your efforts are greatly, greatly appreciated.
Ran into some problems with this the last few days--I accidentally checked the "Uninstall" button while I had all of my recently updated mods checked. No problem, I thought, and hit the "Install" button. Now, unfortunately, I can't get the Updater to recognize that I have any of those mods installed anymore. I did just about everything I could think of to get it to try to recognize it, even as far as deleting MacAceUpdater and re-copying to the Apps folder, but nothing will work. Any ideas?

I'm drooling over this UI, Lyn. Seriously can't wait for you to post a finished shot!

Dammit, Lyn, stop posting great UIs and then not uploading them! ;)
I actually really love the big debuffs--it's the one thing I'm totally oblivious to in this game. I think this might help.
