I know it doesn't work by default but is it possible to get it working?
I have different bar textures than the default on my Blizzard bars at the moment, but that was from someone elses UI. I tried to recreate the method they used (below) with a different texture but in-game everything just came out lime green (texture error).
Their method was to:
Create a folder inside the "interface" folder named "buttons".
Inside the button folder they had 4 .blp's:
I is it possible to easily replicate this with any ButtonFacade texture, or more simply to get ButtonFacade working the Blizzard Action Bars?
Thanks in advance!

Nov 8, 2008Posted in: General ChatQuote from tombileeI've have tried to recreate it using statusquo and statuscolour (and suf in this image) but as you can see the texture on the nameplate, or whatever you call it, still has the default blizz texture (could this be changed in statusquo maybe if I add the frame?).
I don't know how to change the colour of the names on the frames either (can't stand that yellow text >.< ).
I know about adapt too (used it for a while) but the 3D portraits aren't that important to me.
Does anyone have any word on this? Would love to know how to do this too.

Once question now though, where would I put that file to make it work? Would I need to essentially create an addon for it i.e; make a .toc file to go with it? Or is there an easier way?
EDIT: Making a new addon out of that code didn't work, unsurprisingly. I also tried to add the desired code to an existing addon, but that just didn't work and broke the original addon.

Simple question really. Is it possible to change the colours of the Health and Mana bars in the default blizzard unitframes?
I opened the Lua file of StatusColours but it only says "set RaidFrame Colour" or something similar (I dont know LUA, so bear with me). There was no actual adjustable colour code that I was hoping for.
I was able to create my own brightended bar texture and use it with StatusQuo, which turned out perfect, except that the mana bar colour is still too much of a deep blue for my liking.
Any help would be great! Thanks!

Here is a hackish fix, it still spits out some weird binding errors but...it's functional :P
As far as making drop-downs -- that won't happen :) The text is so that you can do some slightly more advanced stuff, and use ANY macro conditionals for bar swaps (maybe you want one bar for shift, another for alt, and a different for alt+shift, or one for friendlytarget+shift, or another to only swap when your not flying, etc...) Plus it's really not that much harder to type 'mod:alt' than it is to select from a drop-down :P
Thanks shizload for the update/fix! It's working a treat!

Your broken and suck! :P It's actually a pretty simple fix to get the current PM2 working on live.
I was actually planning on updating (re-writing) PM2 soon though, since I just started playing WoW again.
Lol sorry, didn't mean to offend! Thought the author (you) were long gone.
But yeah would LOVE if you could update it. What I mean by broken:
-It removed all text from my bars (binding text, macro text).
-When I pushed key it would just say "I need to target something first" no matter what spell it was. And even if I DID target something it wouldn't work.
It doesn't so much as "suck" it's just broken and kind of a little hard to use. If you were going to update it:
Simply the config box. For example:
Alt: (DropDown Box) Bar 1-10+
Ctrl: (DropDown Box) Bar 1-10+
Shift: (DropDown Box) Bar 1-10+
etc, etc. So it's just the Modifier than a dropdown box of what bar it is beside it. So it sort of removes the need for having to type stuff in. But in saying that you could have the text-style as an "Advanced" option or something.
You could also perhaps integrate it into Blizzards Interface panel, just an idea.
But please update this! :D
May 11, 2008This is an addon i've been wanting for AGES. The only mod i've come across so far that can do this is Pagemaster2 but it well... is broken and sucks.Posted in: Addon Ideas
By Modifiers I mean if I hold down Alt my bar will flip to a different bar, if I hold Shift to another bar etc etc. All bar mods at the moment have this function. I've used Bartender for most of needs doing this but I sort of wanna head back to blizzard default.
If anyone knows of, or could create a simple mod like this I would be endlessly thankful.
