    This last release also borked my aliases.

    I had /lg aliased to /logout. Now all my toons do is say, in whatever channel I last spoke in /logout

    I had /mq aliased to /monkeyquest open. It used to work.

    Last night I just sent that in a tell to my friend. >,<

    Hi, I need some assistance with the Alias module. I used it extensively before wotlk hit without any problems. I did an AddOn wipe at the expansion, and I am just now setting my aliases back up. This time around, no matter how I try to do it, my character will always simply speak the contents of the alias aloud instead of actually running the command. I'm probably just missing something obvious, so sorry about that, but I appreciate if someone can set me straight.

    For example,
    /alias /foo /run DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage("test alias");

    When I type in /foo (by itself, no leading space before the slash), I would expect "test alias" to be echoed in my local chat window. Instead, my character embarrassingly says (in whatever channel I'd most recently spoken to) "/run DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage("test alias");"

    Okay, I'll look into that. Will this be fixed eventually, or have you decided not to pursue this area because it's no longer needed?

    Thanks again for the work. I love Prat.

    This is not a bug, so I didn't want to post a ticket. I hope this is the correct place to discuss my issue.

    My issue has to do with the popup message, which is one of my favorite features. An earlier version of Prat 3.0 had some other options regarding the popup. Most notably you could specify which chatframes/channels you wanted it to watch. With the most recent release of Prat 3.0 on curse this seems to have been removed and only output is configurable.

    Why does this matter? Well, I dual-box so I am in the special situation of being on 2 toons at once. I am also in a very large guild and although I try to associate all my toons together not everyone knows me by my main's name. Therefore, I put all my toon/nick names into the add nickname function.

    So what's the issue? Well, while I never get popup messages for the maintoon I'm playing on one account, the loot vacuum I choose to have follow me around spams me relentlessly with loot messages in the popup window. Whatever changes you made, or direction you went in when you took the search section away, you also took away my ability to filter out loot messages and such.

    When the search/input section was configurable I'd just have it look only my 3rd chat frame which is where all my communication took place. So no matter what channel, or which toon they called me by, it would popup, while not spamming me with loot messages.

    I know I'm a special needs case, but I figured I should at least inquire. Is there anyway you can put that back, or just completely have it overlook all loot messages?
