Yeah, ideally, they should have made it an option. That's why I phrased it that way in my request.
So I tried out the titan addon. It's OK. I'd still like to see TellTrack Aced. I'll use the titan addon because there's no other alternative. But I'd be all over a new TellTrack in a second.

Oct 14, 2005Back when I used to use Cosmos (I know, I know), I used a mod called TellTrack. Can't remember how I found it, whether it was included or not or whatever. You can see it here:Posted in: Addon Ideas
Of course, I quickly realized how much cosmos sucked, both the mods themselves and how they were coded. At which point I quickly pruned out all the bad mods. I believe TellTrack broke before I removed Earth, however it doesn't reallly matter. With no mods left that required Earth, I promptly removed it. I have yet to find a replacement for my tell tracker. The closest thing I think EV_Whisper, which is not that good at all.
TellTrack did these things:
It kept track of the names of people who were sending me tells, in ascending or descending order, and you could define how many names it showed and other things like that.
I could right click their name in the list and get all sorts of options. /who, /whisper, /invite, etc.
It had a choice for left-click. It would either start a tell to that person, or, open up a new chat window with all the tells they sent to you, and you sent to them.
Another important point, if I remember correctly, is a person would never appear on the list more than once. If somebody was on the list, let's say, third position, and they whispered you, they would move to first, there would not be anotehr entry (a major flaw in EV_Whisper).
This addon was one of my favorties, as it could quickly tell me if I missed tells, and help me keep track of all those I received. If I had the knowledge of this language, or the time to learn the knowledge, I would do it myself, but alas I don't. I would love to see an Aced version of this addon. Is this possible? And if it is, is anyone willing to do it?
List tags are malformed.
