Oh no....what's happened!!?!?! Just updated KGPanels via Curse and all my panels have been replaced by a large white block covering about 1 third of the bottom of the screen!!
I'm no expert with KGPanels and originally got it as part of a UI package most of which I have now replaced. I did at some time modify the artwork for my panels, but it's so long I can't remember how I got it all to work.
KGPanels does seem to be ignoring the artwork loaded into the library, and also seems to have lost all my border graphics and scripts.
Please any advice what to do to get my panels back would be extremely greatly appreciated.
The more I look at this set up, the more I want it for my own! The only problem is I can't for the life of me figure out how to put the bars over the unit portrait like that in Pitbull 4. I'm assuming the code on the original post is for PitBull 3 based on the post date.
Can anybody help me do this in PB4?
Can whoever came up with this layout please post their code.
OK, ignore this post, have now installed PB4 and amazingly it took about 5 mins to acheive something similar.
I've used kgpanels to place a HUD graphic at the bottom of the screen replacing the default Blizz HUD.
For the first time since doing this, I've just entered a vehicle and the vehicle HUD doesn't appear. Is this because my HUD is overlaying it? Or has something I've done stopped it appearing altogether?
What I'd like to do is have a script that replaces my HUD with the vehicle HUD on entry, and replaces the vehicle HUD with my HUD on exit. In fact, as I've replaced all of the Blizz stuff (ie chat frame is now Chatter, actionbars are now Bartender, Chinchilla minimap and Carbonite) are all at the bottom of the screen sitting on top of my HUD graphic, and I'd like to hide/show the whole shooting match on vehicle entry/exit.
Or...failing that, how would I make everything sit further back in the strata? (I think that's the correct term) so that the vehicle HUD overlays all my stuff.
I've not done any scripting before, how difficult would this be to achieve? Or could somebody post a script for me to try?
Have only just installed Prat 3.0, mainly to get rid of the awful buttons Blizz have added.
I have loaded all modules and configured to hide buttons and tabs, however, the Combat Log frame still shows extra space where the menu used to be (the one where you select to show stuff relating to yourself, everything etc). Can this be got rid of? I only want to see information relating to myself in that window anyway.
One other question that bothers me, I have the general chat window on the left and combat on the right. Can I config the general chat to only display guild, friend messages and whispers to me?
Will the content of either chat window change to reflect the fact that I'm in a party or raid situation?
Other than that, great addon, always wanted one that would allow resizing in any direction, and a big plus....a font size of your choice.....not just a minimum of 12.
X-Perl has a certain look and feel fairly baked in, whereas with Pitbull you can make it look a variety of different ways.
Interesting....if I can configure PB to look as good as X-P then I may just enable it (I have PitBull 4 installed). I would like more configurability at the end of the day...so yes, I'll take your hint and give it a go.
X-Perl has not been showing my true health, I die but my bar still shows I'm at full health. Also when I resurrect X-Perl still shows me as a ghost. The only way to fix it is to completely log out of WoW...sometimes I have to do this multiple times! These issues have only been going on for a week or two & it's not just my account I know it has happened to a couple other people. Aside from this I love the add-on!!
I'm having the exact same issue, is anybody going to do anything about it? I'd really rather keep X-Perl than go the PitBull route.
Thanks Zidomo, Rawr does work for paladins and using it is fun but not what I need. Will tryout GearGauge.
You're probably right and I shouldn't worry about gear at the moment, but I'm so damned impatient, and really wanna look my best in some kewl gear
I'll try not to place to much importance on the issue for now and just try and race my way to lvl80.
Thanks one and all for you contributions to this thread:D

I need scripts to autohide these items when I enter a vehicle, and show them again on exit.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I am also using Mapster and Carbonite.
I think this only occurred after the 3.3.5 patch.

OK that's too bad, 'cos I love the skin on the rest of my bars.
Thanks for the response.

Am I perhaps doing something wrong, or is this intentional?

But, in actual use, which is the better mod?

Hot damn :( You are correct.

The addon MUST allow me to assign created macro's to Action Bars (which BindPad doesn't seem to allow)
Thanks
