If you want the buff tracking of XRS, here's a shocker of an idea: run XRS?
You can turn off all bars and just have a row of buff icons. Now put it at the bottom of where you put your ax_RS frame. What do you have? ax_RS with buff checking/casting. Problem solved.
As far as I'm aware overheal was also estimated client side. No heal actually indicates how much it overheals for under the old or new combat log systems.
I am getting random "new mail" notifications with both MailFu and SLMail (which would also show the mail icon on the minimap). It has been happening for about a week now. Not even when touching a mailbox - sometimes I notice it when I'm in an instance, or porting. I haven't caught when it happens.
One time it is definitely happening is when someone sends me a mail. Yes, even thoguh it won't arrive for an hour, somehow MailFu knows and declares that I have new mail. I've tested this with friends on Vent and while it doesn't happen every time it is reproducable. It's definitely not a coincidence.
At a guess there is something up with the Blizzard events since there's no way MailFu would know otherwise?
I'm also getting the new mail alert when opening a blank inbox as someone else mentioned, happens 30-50% of the time I guess.
I used to run XRS but had some problems with it recently, and I think the buffing part of it was removed? It disappeared for me anyway.
Basically I really liked the system in XRS where I could make little icons for the main class buffs and it would shows me how many people need each one.
Hovering an icon shows me names of who is missing that buff in a tooltip.
Clicking it tries to buff someone who is currently missing that buff (if it's a spell I can cast).
Shift-clicking it reports to the raid who is missing that buff (useful for spells that I can't cast).
Each button was filtered by class so AI didn't look at Warriors/Rogues, etc.
I had it setup with PW:F, DS, SProt, AI, MOTW and that was all I needed and it was perfect.
We're a casual Kara guild, I don't need huge windows or grids of exactly what buffs everyone does/doesn't have (like in BigBrother). I don't need flask checking, food checking, Pala buff checking, and I don't want to spam the raid every time I want to know what's missing. Six icons with numbers was perfect and took up no screen space while still always being visible and easy to glance at.
Any suggestions for something similar? Or how can I get this working in XRS again?
This is awesome, I finally got round to setting Parrot up again properly and I realise how much I missed it.
One little error I found, if you change the Icon position on a Scroll Area the whole thing gets bugged out and stuck on "Pow" style and you have to delete the whole Scroll Area and recreate it.
No idea on the icons, but the one on SVN is clearly not updated for the 2.4 combat log so a lot of people would like to know what version you're using which apparently works fine?
I've not seen this in a raid (yet?) but it's happened in BGs a few times. I have target buffs unfiltered and these always work fine. But the same buffs sometimes don't show up on certain raid members (where I have filtering enabled) even though they are set to show in the filter and the same buff is showing up on other raid members.
Example, I buff everyone with PWF at the start of a WSG. On my raid bars, eight people show the buff, two people don't. If I target those two, they actually do have it. Recasting has no effect.
This will arbitrarily fix itelf at some point but haven't worked out when exactly, it might be when they die.
This is great, only thing I'd like is a faster way to change my current Herb (or whatever) filter sinc eI tend to toggle things on/off a lot to avoid clutter.

Shame this is the only Fubar mail mod around :( .
