With the addition of the status bars and the lack of updates to axRS I've switched back to using RBS again :) . I keep the dash pretty minimal, we don't force flasks or anything so I'm mainly looking to see major class buffs. Ideally I want two rows of buttons, something like this:
PW:F, DSpi, AI, MotW,
SP, Blessings, Auras, Soulstone.
The problem is that Soulstone (and maybe Auras, can't remember exactly) goes on it's own line. Is there a reason for that or is it a bug?
Would you be interested in sharing that Orion? I think I could make use of it with our system. Not expecting support obviously, would just give me a good codebase to work with :) .
Thanks for the feedback. BTW you can switch off all buffs so they don't appear on the dashboard other than the ones you want.
Thought I'd reply to this here (from the XRS thread). The issue was that I wanted to arrange the buffs so that my ones (PWF, DS, SP) are the first three buttons on the panel. It was a pretty minor thing but thought you might like the feedback anyway :) .
It was little things for me that put my off RBS. For example I can't choose what order the buttons are displayed in. I don't remember exactly what else because I only used it for a day and dumped it but the GUI on XRS's buff buttons is (or was) superior for what I wanted even if it's less intelligent.
RBS looked good for some things but our guild is pretty casual so all I need to do is check PWF, DS, AI and MotW, and I think XRS is better for that.
Hi, I can't get this to work. I can bring up the GUI and cycle between the option screens but I can't find any way to actually add a player to the Player list or anything useful like that. What am I missing?
Does anyone know of a mod that will let me move the anchor of the bag frames without affecting their "stacking" behaviour? Also looking for something to remove the artwork/borders on the bag frames to save screen space. Note that I don't want an all-in-one or virtual-bag solution.
Well said, agreed, I'm not sure why I still post there as much as I do, I guess I feel for the few members of decent community left.
So I just looked at your signiture and realised I run all those mods so I'll take this unrelated chance to thank you for that lot!
I don't take kindly to people changing my posts when I am NOT linking to anything harmful to anyone and ignoring inquiries into why.
Well this is from the site that bans Wowhead because "it's run by gold sellers", and let like to rave about how they themselves are an official Blizzard partner and that means they can be truste. Even though Wowhead is too. Go figure.
But I guess that's the problem with the internet... Too many idiots.
This is true :D . And I have taken the site's side before because there have been a couple of false positives and people just libelling them at the first chance. But it's a joint responsibility, both the site and the users have to take responsibility.
Tunga I am glad to see you around these parts. I am Xinh although you haven't seen my name on WoWUI in a long time due my misgivings with that site. They still haven't learned. I was suprised to read that WoWUI does not have a dedicated UI moderator. It would seem they don't have an Admin that is not on EU time either.
Yep, they just never replaced me and have failed to give any reason for why the forum suddenly doesn't need a mod (it very obviously does). There are a couple of obvious choices including Lothaer who is already a mod on the UI site and reads the UI forum lots but I guess 30sec in the Admin CP is a lot of effort.
Funny you should say that. I knew this quote was somewhere, finally found it:
you have as much chance of getting something dodgy from any site as you do from this one and I think this is the only site that does not accept executable files so we are playing it super-safe for all users
