    I ran across this addon about a month ago with the feature to change the party dots to class icons in the minimap. I have no idea if it still works.

    edit: so I got bored and tested it. still works. it looks like it overlays an image over the default dot. When a party member moves the class icon kinda lags behind a little and you can see the edge/border of the default dot.

    I wouldn't mind seeing a mod like this thats just the class colored circles rather then the icon and no range mod. But this might work for you if nothing else is out there.

    Looking for a bored Author! Or if anyone knows a mod similar to this.

    The mod we used for raid invites was called LazyRaid. I don't know that it was ever publicly released. But we've since had most of the programmers that had time/know how to fix this mod quit.

    What it did:
    It was a pool of available players that a raid leader could select the raid makeup before actually sending out the raid invites. Also, acted as a waitlist once the raid was created.

    How it worked:
    About 30mins before the raid time was to hit, people would message the raid leader with 'invite' to get into the pool. This would give the raid leader a list of everyone that wanted to attend the raid and he could then select all the proper classes for a good raid make-up as well figuring out who if anyone needs to sit due to whatever attendance policy the guild has. They could then hit the invite button and it would send invites out to all the selected players.

    This prevented a lot of the problems where you would invite a player and have to kick him 5mins later to make room for another healer. (seems People are ok with not getting the first invite rather then being the one person kicked to make room for someone else.)

    The remaining pool is then used as a waitlist, as well as people logging in can still get into the pool.

    This was also very helpful for multiguild raids, and unguilded alts where you can't always use the guild tab to see who's available.

    I'll attach the old mod, maybe its an easy fix. I believe it had sea and maybe chronos as a dependency.

    If not, I hope someone likes the idea and will run with it and make it their own!

    Corner Icon for player is in your current subgroup.

    I like what you have so far.

    The 2 digit health deficit would be nice to display. But I'd be torn between displaying the health deficit or the first couple letters of the player name. if other healers die and you need to pick up healing on a specific target its a must to identify which little box is theirs. Or if you are a pally and a mage is screaming for a bop. :)

    Due to the size of the frames I don't think you can really display both without it being to cluttered.

    Maybe instead of the red/green boxes for incoming heal/aggro there could be a color coded box for health deficit. Might be a good option as one of the modules.

    I just changed the width on the topframe so that it wouldn't overlap the minimap. Although, I use a square minimap so it might look a little better then with the round one.

    I assume this would be fixed in this version as it goes off the cast spell and not what is on cooldown.

    I don't suppose there would be an easy macro that I could use to quickly change the sort method used on the raid frames? I like sorting by group for some boss fights and sorting by class/roll for other bosses/trash. Only thing I hate is digging through the options menu to change the sorting.

    Would love a macro that I could use to put on a couple hotbar slots to quickly change between the sorting options.

    Or even better, a fubar plugin. With the main config menu as the right click option. And a left click menu with the sort types.

    Thanks for any help.

    Yea I tried the CastBar.prototype.casting before I made my post which didn't work. I'll take a look at SpellStatus and see what I can do with it. Thanks.

    I have a couple questions that I hope someone here can help me with.

    First, is there a channel casting bar (mind control/mind flay) that i'm just not getting? Or is there simply not one?

    Second, I used to use ecasting bar and I had a heal/heal cancel all in one macro but I can't find out what casting frame IceHUD uses. The following is the macro I used to use. Can it be adapted for IceHUD?
