    Hi all i need help with some code. When proc SoC is activate "CHAT_MSG_SPELL_SELF_DAMAGE" is activate, i know how i can see Yellow_damage, but there is too White_Damage (at same time), but i dont know how can i access it... Can someone help me plz?

    My code is:

    function SoC:CHAT_MSG_SPELL_SELF_DAMAGE()
    self:Print("Ha cogido el dps")
    self:Print(CommandIsActive)
    if CommandIsActive == 1 then
    for type, mob, dmg in string.gmatch(arg1, "Your (.+) hits (.+) for (%d+).") do
    SoCDamage = dmg
    end

    --if (event == "CHAT_MSG_COMBAT_SELF_HITS") then
    --for mob, dmg in string.gmatch(arg1, "You hit (.+) for (%d+).") do
    --HitDamage = dmg
    --end
    end
    self:Print(SoCDamage)
    self:Print(HitDamage)

    TOTAL_DAMAGE = SoCDamage + HitDamage
    self:Print(TOTAL_DAMAGE)
    self:Print("Parece que funciono")
    TOTAL_DAMAGE = 0
    HitDamage = 0
    SoCDamage = 0

    posted a message on noob Starting Seal of Command
    Hi all, i am starting to code something with LUA, i have readed lot of addons, tutorials etc... But i cant find how can do this:

    I want to write in the chat dialog the seal of command valour, I wrote something like this:

    function SoC:CHAT_MSG_SPELL_SELF_DAMAGE()
    --self:Print("Hi I am here!")
    if arg1 ~= "Your Seal" then
    --self:Print("thats righ!")
    if self.db.profile.showInChat then
    self:Print(self.db.profile.message)
    end
    if self.db.profile.showOnScreen then
    UIErrorsFrame:AddMessage(self.db.profile.message, 1.0, 0.0, 0.0, 1.0)
    self:Print("White Valour")
    self:Print("Yellow Valour")
    end
    end
    end

    I see people using :

    for junk,damage in string.gmatch(arg1, WTEvent_Melee) do

    To do something near to my idea but dont know how do it. Can you help me?

    Sorry for my bad english.

    Sorry for my poor English.
    Hi, i was using search function forum but i didnt found anything. I am looking for something like this:

    CHAT_MSG_SAY

    but for Combat Chat window ... not for the standard. I want to catch if Seal of command is executed (not buffed).

    Thanks in advance.
