Imagine a Fubar broken up in a bunch of small "pieces" of fubar, dockable as you like, optionally with a border.
It's pretty neat, though not really workable in my current interface setup :S

Jul 2, 2008_ForgeUser3663 posted a message on ShieldsUp - shaman shield monitor - official topicVery nice, I love beSch but I always needed it a tad different and hate LUA configuration.Posted in: General AddOns
Out of sheer curiosity, once ShieldsUp is done do you plan to enhance the the be-Totemrange-Tracker with an ingame GUI, too?
Jun 5, 2008A tooltip addon for me needs to do 3 things:Posted in: General Chat
a) Get the tooltip on my cursor, but use a smart-tape anchoring for spell/unitframe tooltips.
b) Display spec (ideally abbreviated: 'Demo(6/44/11)' for example).
c) Be as tiny as possible. Health and all is completely optional, as is any "advanced" information. If the tooltip covers 25% of my screen, there's no reason I should have it on the cursor after all.

Wow, bummer. Examiner is the third inspect addon that I've used, and each one so far has fallen by the wayside and replaced by the next. Hopefully someone will keep it alive.
Yeah, I <3 these inspect-addons. Makes life of checking someone's stuff in a PUG or in PvP a lot easier :)
Jun 2, 2008I used SCT all the time, repeatedly tried MSBT and Parrot and apart from some neat animations in Parrot (and a lack of anything remotely useful animation-wise in MSBT) I found both bloated with functionality I'd never use, and impossible to configure compared to the 5-clicks-and-done setup of SCT.Posted in: General Chat
Hence been using SCT.
Now that I use PowerAuras for the "Hey, look out!" stuff, I dropped scrolling combat-text altogether. I never read the actual numbers anyways, only noticed the color and the icon.
May 29, 2008Would anyone happen to have an idea how to make a macro which calls the target-rezz-function if I got a friendly corpse targetted, and the auto-rezz-function if I don't?Posted in: General AddOns
I've been fiddling with calling the mod-internet functions from a macro, I figured it's /script SmartRes:FunctionName(), but seems to be wrong. :S
May 27, 2008I have troubles with a Druid healer called Marbelle constantly having maybe 80%+ of her actions ignored. She's in the lists, she's done something, she just supposedly done a lot less than other mods, WWS or she herself say ;)Posted in: General AddOns

Can you tell me if you had a 200KiB's+ memory increasing rate from Ace3?
I'll check next raid - I am fairly certain Ace3 wasn't in the 2-digit area (in MBs) after the raid, so I doubt it was that high unless it got purged regularily. I do have a 70kb/s~90kb/s frequently when I watch, but I got ~210 addon folders :X
I'll check specifically for the Ace3 stuff though.
May 19, 20083:30 hours Mount Hyjal, roughly 23 MB of data with timed data on for player + raidmembers, disabled for the other stuff.Posted in: General AddOns
Meters were consistent with both the WWS parse and with other meters in the raid.
Seems to work well for me ;)
One thing I don't like though is how Threat-2.0 doesn't seem to get loaded by RecountThreat. To get RecountThreat to recognize the lib, I had to load Omen2 too.
May 14, 2008Is there anyone using EavesDrop as a "HUD"-like display instad of say SCT or PowerAuras?Posted in: General AddOns
If so, can you link your screen? I tried this earlier and ran into a wall, and I'd be curious to see whether it's possible.
I like the information-depth of EavesDrop compared to SCT, hence my idea of replacing it.
