I used to have a /script macro which made a Pizza Timer appear in BigWigs (I don't have it myself), but it stopped working after BW3 got released. Now I tried looking through the code where the formatting of the SendAddonMessage for the Pizzatimers got changed, but I can't find the difference.
Anyone know how the message has to look now? Or can dump the Pizza Timer messages quickly and see what it looks like?
I don't actually see a problem with that.
From the way you describe it, only people who are AFK (by nature trivial as a "problem") or who would send their pet in without attacking themselves would notice this.
And I can't see the latter happening often. Maybe for Hunters or Warlocks for the first 1-2 seconds of combat, but does that matter to them. Or do you drop off the Blizzard threat-updates again when you don't change your threat for X seconds?
That'd be tough to do, cerbul. At least I'd suspect that.
Without the other players wanting to use addons, there is now easy way of "knowing" for ZOMGbuffs (which you run) which blessing is assigned to which Paladin.
I see what you're getting it with a manual option "This Paladin exclusively Blessing X on all Players" (anything more complex would be totally out of whack), but I am not sure that's what Zek made the blessmanager for, which is ultimately a more sophisticated version of PallyPower's, minus the pet-separation.
In other words you might be talking about a different "type" of addon than what Zek is programming.
To be honest, outside of small things or bugs I think this mod is already near-perfect, it's as close to a buff-mod I'd call a buff-mod I've seen so far.
To my small gripes:
1. Turn the chatmessages off if wanted.
2. Problems with saving the enabled/disabled state of some options, specifically the Tracker for me but guildies also reported issues with the Lock-option for the main button.
3. No automatic switching of the hovered class in the Blessing-Spec-Configuration, rather have us click the class-icon or so. Reason is that you keep accidentially "switching" to the wrong class merely by hovering over their column, since the columns constantly expant/contract.
Does anyone know if the original author dropped the mod, and/or if there are updated versions of it around somewhere and/or it's being updated to WotLK?
I am very early in my understanding of Lua, so I doubt I could do it, but once I got this semester's exams done I might just dig deep enough into Lua to take a shot at if it necessary. <3 ZOMGBuffs. :)
Another tiny request would be to suppress all that chat-feedback you normally get when buffing. In many cases it's unnecessary, one can check the popup list what's happening and what is not. :)
I just found this addon, and I think I already made it my #1 most important addon.
Between the completely insanely awesome blessmanager and the self-rebuffing part, this is amazing. Big thanks Zek for this, I hope someone will update it for WotLK too, this is just crazy.
But it shows for you?
I had mine correctly list Searing and Magma totems for multiple Shamans in the group. If you got to the detail screen and keep clicking the pet part, it cycles through all, do the totems list there?
Oh btw, Elsia:
AWESOME work on this. ^_^
And one knitpicking thing: could you remove the select/deselect coloration on clicking the pet-part in a detail screen? Since the pet cycles every time it's clicked, it looks rather odd. Or make selection left-click, cycling right-click or something. ;)
There hasn't been a functional change to Chatter in 32 days.
I got the very same issue though, and I "fix" it the same way as Vorda every login.
If nothing has changed with Chatter, then another mod was updated and now causes an incompatibility with Chatter, I'll explore later.
