Isnt the database from Gathermate just an object with arrays like a JSON file? If so, a concat/join/union/merge of the objects above should do the trick (I'm talking javascript here). I can help if it's the case :)

there is no update command, stan was making a suggestion

    Oh ok :P

But is there a way to make what I wrote earlier?

To simplift: After my UI is made and is working, if I want to make another addon in the list of the same profiles, what should I do?

    or just /reflux update LaptopUI?

Will this create a profile for the new addon and update the list in LaptopUI?

Ok, I just started today setuping a simple UI for my laptop.

So the first step would be /reflux create LaptopUI
Then after all setup is made, /reflux save

That I got. But then, what about adding another addon in the mix? Say after I decide to use Chinchila (a minimap addon), what should I do? I believe I should create a profile LaptopUI on it to make things works? Or should I use another command?

As I'm already writting, I'd like to suggest a feature - a simple gui where all addons are listed by (a selectbox) profile. That would be awesome.

Thanks for this addon by the way. It rocks :)

EDIT: "/reflux save" instead of "/reflux save LaptopUI"

I like the idea of havind mob notes (and the addon described above) but it'd be nice if you have this info beforehand. Before anything in fact, so you'll know what class to bring at certain dungeons. And also good for priests and mind control.

That's why me and a friend were working on an addon with a complete list. It's obviously easy, just to make a gui with the whole wowwiki and some comments from wowhead. But we're totally lost by now, taking baby steps to do it.

    Just to add :P

I know what you mean and I have the exact same problem. I'd like to be able to place out the party frames one by one. That way I'd be able to have them around my minimap and always showing up in the right place. It's very annoying and feels very limited the way it is now.

    Anyone have a solution?

Me and my friend were able to search a little in the code and found that maybe the author is already trying that. We uncommented all "freeform" from the core code and then were able to move them separately. eg:

    local freeform = false --PitBull.db.profile.groups[this.group].freeform
    (uncomment and replace false)
    local freeform = PitBull.db.profile.groups[this.group].freeform

There are several other functions in the lua core and a lot of them are not commented. Try that. Attached a screenshot to show it:

EDIT: ANYWAY it does not save, unfortunatelly. WTF file is not handling it yet I guess. I'm working on that right now, but I really think that the author is already working on it.
And by the way, thanks a lot for the author for already doing that. It'll save us.
