It's the same error over and over again -- it repeats another 60x in my log but I didn't post the whole thing for obvious reasons.

Nah, don't want to clutter up the macros unless it's necessary. It's easy to change the macro yourself though.
Change the Dawnstar Village macro from "4" to:
    #showtooltip [dead] item:34368; item:34533
/use [dead] Attuned Crystal Cores; Astromancer's Crystal

Rock on. Will do, thanks! :P

posted a message on IHML - I Have Macro Lol! - Official thread
I noticed a small issue with the Attuned Crystal Cores that are used in the sentry conversion quest on Quel'Danas. Essentially, if you kill an erratic sentry near dawnstar village, the ihml macro will stay on the Astromancer's Crystal instead of the Attuned Crystal Cores. I suggest changing the macro to work similarly to the way it works in Dawning Square vis-a-vis the Emissary of Hate, where if you have a dead erratic sentry targeted in that area then the macro will update to use Attuned Crystal Cores instead of the Astromancer's Crystal.

despite candy bar not needing paint chips, it's properly set as an external. and with out futher information i'll have to simply say your downloading it wrong. HG2 is a branch and thus really needs it's own thread... but meh...

I think you misunderstood what I was saying. I have Paintchips, it's just I had to download it seperately after getting the error the first time (I wasn't using it and it's not in the branch).

i'll take a look when i get home..

If it helps, I read in the capping changelog that Capping removed the PaintChips library because candybar no longer requires it. Maybe that will help you pinpoint the issue. I have the same error when running Hourglass2 (sinks + emphasize = win) and I am running PaintChips just to stop that error, which seems like a waste.

SSR does not recognize the new "tracking" modes introduced with 2.3. For example, if I have "Find Fish" enabled, SSR will say that my default, "Track Hidden" is missing. The same is true with the other tracking modes for various vendors, class trainers, etc.

okay, i have a new version up on the svn here. i see what my problem was. informant's buy from vendor price is for a stack (and it provides the stack size) but the sell to vendor price is per unit. i assumed the prices were per unit for both in my code. personally, i think it's odd to use have one be per stack and one be per unit, but hey, whatever.

anyway, i've also added a tooltip for the cost button that will give a breakdown of the how lsw is coming up with its cost number.

give it a whirl and lemme know how it works for ya. i'll u/l to the other sites when i'm sure it's working correctly. or at least, this part of it is... :)

The latest one seems to work like a charm. I especially like the tooltip breakdown.

In 2.1 alpha the "quest" and "misc" categories filter the same items (i.e., quest).

Yes, I'm using informant. The really crazy thing is that informant shows the price individually on the tooltip (i.e., if I mouse over an imbued vial it shows the price as 40s), which is why I couldn't see what was happening at first.

posted a message on LilSparky's Workshop -- Official Thread
I cross-posted this on wowinterface, but thought I might add it here also:

I found a cost calculation problem. It has to do with vendor items that are sold in multiples. Alchemy is particularly bad because the profit margin is such that the relatively expensive vials throw everything off if miscalculated. For example:

Elixir of Major Mageblood: Lil Sparky Cost to make: 4.54g. AucAdv market value: 4.14g. So, it looks like these potions are unprofitable. But, when we break it down:

    1x Ancient Lichen: 82s28c
    1x Netherbloom: 1g71s72c
    1x Imbued vial: 40s

Actual cost: 2.94g, so I should be able to make these at a profit. The 1.6g difference is because the Imbued vials are sold in lots of 5 for 2g, So LSW adds 2g to the cost of every elixir instead of 40s which is the actual cost of one vial. This raises a couple of issues:

    1) When a recipe calls for vendor items that are sold in lots, LSW should calculate the cost of the actual number of items that will be used. While some recipes actually DO use 5 Imbued Vials at a time (the Major Arcane, Fire, Frost, Nature, Holy, and Shadow Protection potions do this), most recipes only use 1 vial at a time.

    2) If possible, there should be an option to calculate reputation discounts (which will be expanded in 2.3, fyi) for vendor items. Right now there is only a discount for honored, but post 2.3 users should have an option to select exactly which reputation level they want to use for vendor costs (friendly, honored, revered or exalted) and LSW should use (5%, 10%, 15% or 20%) for vendor items as appropriate. For expensive vendor items the rep discounts really can make a difference in profitability.

Seems pretty good so far. I had to disable it so I could mail things (combuctor covers the mail window) but I plan to get back to it when it's movable. But I really like the concept.

Whenever I do a keybinding I get a warning from Spellbinder about how naughty it is to have identically named macros. I don't, unless it's counting the general macros as being separately named macros for each character. Anyway, should I worry about this? Am I missing something, maybe?
