    In our raids, our loot settings change from time to time, depending on what we are doing:

    Hyjal trash: Group Loot
    Any boss: Master Loot
    Vashj Phase 2: Free For All
    Vashj Phase 3: Master Loot
    Any other raid instance trash: Master Loot
    etc...

    For us, different situations call for different loot settings. Is there any sort of mod out there that will automatically switch the loot settings depending on what we are doing? Like I could specify exactly what situation would require master looter and what would be group loot, etc... ?

    I've never recorded a transcript log for BigWigs. Do I need a separate addon for this or can I do it with BigWigs? Is there a wiki page that shows how to record/submit a transcript for a fight? I'll definitely get you a transcript next week if I can figure out how.

    So when you start fighting Al'ar, the boss mod doesn't activate. The module loads fine as usual, but it just doesn't "go" when you engage Al'ar. Everything works just fine once phase 2 begins. Also if you die during phase 1 and release to Netherstorm, when you appear at the graveyard, The boss mod will start all the sudden. Anyone else have this issue?

    I have solved the problem.

    In the LoggerHead configuration, it lists one of the Outland instances as "The Eye". This is incorrect. There is no instance that is specifically called "The Eye". When the command GetRealZoneText() is used, it returns the name of the instance as "Tempest Keep". That's why checking "The Eye" as an instance you want LoggerHead to enable combat logging for, doesn't work. Because it's looking for an instance called "The Eye", when the name of the instance is actually "Tempest Keep".

    This is further confirmed if you enable "Prompt on new zone?". When you turn this on and enter Tempest Keep: The Eye, it says "You have entered Tempest Keep. Do you want to enable logging etc..." It doesn't say anything about "The Eye".

    Again, this is even further confirmed, when you are in "Tempest Keep: The Eye" and do the command "/who <myplayername>" it will list you as being in "Tempest Keep". Not "The Eye" or "Tempest Keep: The Eye".

    And continuing, if you look in the LoggerHead config again, under "Zones > Outland" it lists "Tempest Keep" there. Tempest keep isn't really a zone, its an instance. I mean all instances are zones, but they are really better described as instances. If you 'check' "Zones > Outland > Tempest Keep" THEN LoggerHead will work with TK The Eye correctly. It's just in the wrong place in the LoggerHead configuation.

    The correct fix for LoggerHead would be this:
    1. Remove "The Eye" from "Instances > Outland"
    2. Move "Tempest Keep" from "Zones > Outland" to "Instances > Outland"

    In the meantime, the short term fix for this is to simply enable combat logging for "Zones > Outland > Tempest Keep". It doesn't matter if "Instances > Outland > The Eye" is checked or not.

    This will fix the problem and make sure people are not confused by this anymore.

    In the new WoW Interface Options > Addons part of the default UI, its nice to see some addons starting to take advantage of this. However I'm getting an issue where a lot of the controls are getting cut off on the right side. Anyone else experiencing this? Is it something to do with my UI scale? Or maybe the font's that I'm using with ClearFonts2?

    I brought this up a couple months ago when it was mentioned but I never got much of a response from it. In 2.4, the combat log is getting a huge overhaul. From what I understand, each parse-able line in the combat log will now be unique to unit GUIDs. Basically every unit will have its own unique GUID. So, lets say you are fighting two mobs, each of them are lvl 70 and both are "Ogre Warlock"'s. Basically, from what I understand, the new combat log will be able to tell the difference between the two mobs.

    So what I'm wondering, is Recount, Threat, and any other damage or healing tracking addons being worked on to take this into account? With these great changes, Threat, for example, will be able to accurately track threat against multiple targets w/ the same name. Pretty handy!

    Thanks for the hint about Config mode guys. That worked. Although for future reference, I'd recommend just 'disabling' the proper controls instead of hiding them if Config mode is Disabled. It might kinda give a hint to people that you can change those options somehow instead of people like me thinking they are just missing completely.

    But about the border issue, ya, there is no border on the frames. Those are fairly thin borders anyways. These borders are rather large. Actually they are really more of large backgrounds to the unitframes rather than just borders. Still can't figure out how to get rid of em...

    I update Pitbull regularly but haven't changed my unitframe layouts in a while. After updating today, I noticed some odd things with my frames, so I started messing with them today and noticed some odd options that seem to just be missing or something but they used to be there, if I remember correctly...

    Ultimately I thought my WTF/pitbull.lua was messed up so I deleted those to start from scratch, but no avail...

    1. These black border/backgrounds appeared behind/around all my unitframes. Where did these come from? They weren't there before. I don't see anything in the options to get rid of them.


    2. An example of options that just appear to be totally missing... Where did the options go for any of the icons? I can't change their position, scale, etc... ?


    3. Finally, You used to be able to set the position of the different texts a little better than this. Like set the "Name" text to be on the Inside-Left of the "Healthbar" as shown in the picture (the default setup). However when looking at the different options to change this, I don't see which options is picked here. All the options are referencing the entire unit-frame, not just the healthbar. For example, if I pick "Inside-Left" in the following picture, the Name text will be centered in the inside left of the entire unit frame, not just the healthbar. Sounds confusing, but there must by more options missing because I know I remember these settings from a while back.


    So am I just crazy or is there stuff missing? Is my install screwed up or am I doing something wrong?

    1. Whenever I create a new set it opens up and leaves my backpack open. Anyway to make it not do this? I use Baggins, haven't used the default bags in like 2 years...

    Off-Hand: Latro's Shifting Sword

    When I switch from Tank Set to DPS Set I get the "Cannot find Latro's Shifting Sword in Inventory" error/message/warning. It's looking for it in my inventory, but the item was actually in my Main Hand when I made the switch.
