posted a message on AutoBar by Toadkiller (official thread)
I have problem with tooltips - my basic bar is located vertically on right side of the window, and when I roll mouse over lower buttons, the tooltip from button cover them and I can't really see what I'm pressing. I use Tipsy addon to move tooltips and it moves all other tooltips but just not this one.
And I turned off all the other addons so only AutoBar was on, and still there was this problem.
I haven't found anyone else's post on forum with the same problem, so I assume that I just don't know how to move tooltips - could somebody make it clear to me? :)

version is v678.2 from curse client

Doeas addon need any code to be hidden, when user presses alt-z to make a screenshot or whatever? I'm asking because my addon (for now it's a simple mousemovable frame) refuses to hide when all the rest addons disappear.

I saw this behavior only once before - on xperl uf, on raid frames sometimes there are important debuffs displayed, and those don't hide (frames themselves do so, just not the debuffs).
So, maybe I need to wrote some additional code? I'm using lua to create frame, btw.

Thank you for your immediate answer. I believe that with clever disabling and enabling event listener for OnUpdate it'll be the best way to do what I need.

Hi. I'm new to lua and I'm working on my first addons. For example - I wrote simple addon that shows frame with total time spent in combat with UnitMana == UnitManaMax (tells my rogue how much energy he lost by not using any skills). It all works, but updates only on Frame1_OnEvent.
I'd like to see it updated every 0.1 second (while in combat) without calling OnEvent, like for example, timer bars do. I'm probalby looking for WoW equivalents of good old Win32 SetTimer/OnTimer functions.
How can I do it in most resource friendly way?

    Thanks for any assist.
