    rangechecker is very buggy i think...

    I just cleared whole BT and MH and noticed, that the range checker doesn't really check for 40 meters ranges, but less.

    Frames appeared faded out in my raidframes, allthough i had the selected player in healrange...

    Just for information, i fixed the rangecheck problem.

    Here we go:
    Open rangecheck.lua:

    local BS = {
    ["Flash Heal"] = "Flash Heal",
    ["Healing Touch"] = "Heilende Berührung",
    ["Holy Light"] = "Holy Light",
    ["Healing Wave"] = "Healing Wave",
    ["Corruption"] = "Corruption",
    ["Fear"] = "Fear",
    ["Shadow Bolt"] = "Shadow Bolt",
    ["Fireball"] = "Fireball",
    ["Fire Blast"] = "Fire Blast",
    }

    I'm playing a resto druid and as you can see, I modified the value for Healing Touch to "Heilende Berührung" (german version of healing touch).

    Further i modified ...

    elseif class == "DRUID" then

    to...

    elseif class == "DRUIDE" then

    (Druide german version of Druid)

    So to speak, the problem is the localizing.

    I hope this helps :)

    Hi Mist,

    Thank you very much :) It works very well.

    There's one little question remaining - if you have time it would be really cool if you read through the posting :)

    In the aguf-version before the 2.4-patch only own buffs have been displayed in the raidframes. However, if I targeted/focused another player I could see all his buffs next to his avatar, hp- and mana-bars on top of my screen. Do you think it's possible to change that, too?
    Raidframes: Only own buffs
    Player's Target: All buffs

    If that's possible, it would be really awesome :)

    EDIT: Perhaps such a feature could be included in some future releases. I think xPerl supports such a feature, but I don't want to change my interface because I love aguf :)

    Hi Mist,

    Thanks for the info. It definetly helped me a lot. However, I haven't found the exact location where I have to put the if condition into the aguf-code.

    There are some possible position. When opeing ag_UnitClass.lua there's following passage:

    while (name) do
    		-- record buffs
    		c = aUF.cache.buffs[buffid]
    		c.id, c.name, c.texture, c.count, c.duration, c.timeLeft = buffid, name, texture, count, duration, timeLeft
    		buffid = buffid + 1
    		name, rank, texture, count, duration, timeLeft = UnitBuff(unit, buffid, filter)

    	end

    I've altered it to the following:

    while (name) do
    		-- record buffs
    		if (duration) then
    			c = aUF.cache.buffs[buffid]
    			c.id, c.name, c.texture, c.count, c.duration, c.timeLeft = buffid, name, texture, count, duration, timeLeft
    		end
    		buffid = buffid + 1
    		name, rank, texture, count, duration, timeLeft = UnitBuff(unit, buffid, filter)

    	end

    However it works not as intended...

    Do you have any advice how to get this working? Would be really cool :)

    To sum it up:
    All i want to add to ag_unitframes is a simple option to filter buffs/auras by players. This means: I only want to see a Rejuvenation or Regrowth in my raidframes if I casted it to the player, but I don't want to see it, when another druid casted it.

    I believe I have to modify the ag_UnitClass.lua, but unfortunately I'm not familiar with the lua scripting language and the blizzard built-in functions of wow. All I need is a simple if-condition which checks if the buff was applied by me or not. If it was applied, then the buff should be displayed in the raidframes, if not it should be hided.

    I hope someone of you experts can help :)

    Hey folks,

    First of all, thanks for all your work with ag_unitframes. It's a great modification and i love using it.

    Before the release of patch 2.4 aguf had a bug which only showed the buffs I applied on another person. I'm a druid and for example I couldn't see a mark of the wild buffed by another druid. Only if I buffed the person myself I could see the buff in the raidframe. I felt this was quite nice and handy. With the release of patch 2.4 this bug has been fixed and aguf now shows again also the buffs another person of the same class has applied. Could you please tell me which lines in the .lua files I have to alter in order to only show the buffs I have casted? I'm thinking of some sort of:

    if ($buff_from = [me/Chraisai]) {
    $show_buff = true;
    } else {
    $show_buff = false;
    }

    Thanks for help :)

    Hi,

    Some people on the german world of warcraft forums confirmed this issue already. They mentioned that obviously multiple unitframes suffer from these problems. However, Pitbull is obviously not affected from the buff-problem...

    Hi,

    To bump this topic:

    A few minutes ago I found out, that obviously the whole problem has something to do with the distance of the party members:
    I had a group consisting of one warlock and two druids (one of them was myself). My character was located in Shattrath and the other druid was standing in Ironforge. Strangely I could see the mark-of-the-wild-buff which he casted himself on him... As soon as he went to Shattrath and to the vicinity of my position, the buff disappeard in my raidframe...

    Is this a general problem with ag_unitframes or am I the only person suffering from this problem?

    I would be really glad to hear any tipps from you :)

    Hey there,

    First of all: Thank you for ag_unitframes! It's an great addon and I love using it.

    However, since patch version 2.3.2 I have been suffering from a very weird problem, which is also already confirmed by other people. First of all:
    - buff filtering is enabled
    - buff prioritization is enabled
    - show aura cooldown is disabled
    - ag_unitframes is updated to the most recent release

    Problem:
    Since patch 2.3.2 I encounter the problem, that I can't see buffs which are casted by other people. I can only see the buffs, which I casted myself to other people. In raid I'm playing a healdruid and it's a bit disturbing because I never see any of the buffs the other healdruid casts on the groups. For example, when the other healdruid buffs grps 1-2 and I take the grps 3-5, my raidframes shows no buffs at grps 1-2, but only the buffs at grps 3-5. This problem is especially disturbing during healing because I can't see hots by other heal druids, too.

    As I got to know this bug is already reported and "just needs to get fixed"... Does anyone know something about this problem/bug and how to fix it?

    EDIT:
    Perhaps this helps: This is the error I get after loading WoW:
    ag_UnitFrames\libs\AceOO-2.0\AceOO-2.0.lua:734: AceComm-2.0: AceComm-2.0 requires AceEvent-2.0

    EDIT2:
    Error message is fixed now and doesn't appear anymore. But anyway I still can only see - for example - a mark of the wild which I casted by myself. This means I can see no mark of the wild casted by other druids...

    Thanks you :)
