I find it really annoying and it ALWAYS occurs at a mailbox for me. I do a lot of mailbox activity, there's 50 items/letters, I open all, go back, there's 50 more, and go back, there's 50 more and it crashes. Same error message.
I find that any frames open at the time are 'locked' open. (For instance, my mailbox stays open even when I walk away from it.) The game gets incredibly laggy, as if it's processing an infinite loop. (I really think infinite loop is causing this.) No frames become visible afterward, but blizzard frames still 'work'. (I can talk to a vendor and sell stuff, though I don't see the window.)
/console reloadui causes the game to 'disconnect' after attempting to reload, sometimes a crash, sometimes just so laggy it's a disconnect. So it apparently is still on an infinite loop even after a reload.
This is exactly the same issue I am seeing, Game becomes slow, I cannot close the mailbox window but after closing ArkInventory the game seems to recover slightly. If i also force a garbage dump the game is fine but still the mailbox does not close. If i click the close button i get some generic error message, /reloadui /quit /logout all cause the game to crash.
Apr 21, 2008I am seeing some strange errors when prospecting ore. After about 50 prospects the game starts to crawl and an error pops up saying memory block to large. I cancel the error, close AI force a garbage collection and speed returns but the game quickly crashes thereafter. I don't have any useful information to give other than this does not occur if I disable AI. I will enable error logging and reproduce the error and post back again. Just wondering if anyone else has come across this issue?Posted in: General AddOns

Our guild uses the Suicide Kings loot system and I need to know if the player need or greed on the item. I was thinking would it be possible of having an SK option that when enabled popped up a message box with 3 buttons ( Need/Greed/Disenchant ) when NRT logs who received an item then marks in the log the users choice.

I have been looking for a way to automatically turn my ignore list off in raids and other groups. There are a select few members of my guild that I would rather not see speak (or have my children see speak when they play), but managing buffs and other issues during a raid means I have to put them on/off ignore every day.
If it is possible to add this functionality to this mod, awesome. If not, does any other mod have something like this? Maybe a variable that holds names of 'banned people' (instead of words) that creates or erases the ignore list when you enter or exit a raid. Even a button that does this would work.
Just create a macro. (Just tested this and it works)
/ignore name1 /ignore name2 /ignore name3 /ignore name4
Click it once to ignore and again to un-ignore. simple :)

In combat you need to use player buttons. Autobuff and class buttons do not function propetly in combat since they use automated buff and target selection. Blizzad does not allow addons to use any automated targeting and casting in combat.
How does healbot do it then? I can click on a players name in the healbot list and have it cast flash of light or holylight depending on left or right mouse click. Blizz doesn't allow the selection of which rank of heal spell to use you just use your max one but it most definitely does select the player, cast a heal whilst in combat unless the heal spells are a special case?

I just sell every possible gem on the AH and make 1000g everyday, undercutting every 3 hours with more gems, until I have about 300 on the AH at any one time, with expiring gems going back into the AH, undercutting.
Surely that just drives the price of gems down till they are worth nothing?

One thing I have noticed with all the spam addons I have used is it blocks the spammers from the chat window but the bubbles over the players heads are still seen (I know you can turn them off but I like them on :) ) The only way to stop them from showing is by adding them to my ignore list which defeats the purpose of an anti spam mod.
I realise there is limited space for names in the ignore lis (49 I think) but I wouldn't mind emptying my ignore list occasionally, or perhaps the mod could remove them from the ignore list on zoning or logging perhaps?
Thanks in advance and my apologies if this isn't an issue with this mod as I have not yet tried this mod out.
Jul 1, 2007I see what you are saying (And I wasn't blaming AHSearch at all) as I said I love this mod I was just puzzled as to why hence my previous post. So AHSearch loads up ACE2Libs then all the other mods that also try to load them but do not as AHSearch already has. That makes sense.Posted in: General AddOns
Would this be the reason the memory usage steadily goes up as well?
On a Side not how would I go about disembedding a mod?

Fantastic mod and one I have used for a long time. While this isn't really an issue it has puzzled me for quite some time.
Please see the image below.
AHSearch uses up the most memory and increases in size constantly at a steady rate. While this doesn't seem to have any ill effects at all to my gameplay experience I just wondered why it had such a big memory footprint on load (Even more than ArkInventory which remembers every item I have in all my bags / bank across 9 toons).
I am using the latest version as was updated with AceUpdater.
Like I said, Fantastic mod, Will continue to use it, just wondered if anyone knows the answer to this puzzle :)
