    @Tailon
    I think this is caused by missing exterals, double check if you have DewDropLib and
    FuBarPlugin-2.0 installed since I can't set the missing svn externals for some strange reason.

    Could you return the CalculationResults (in the Melee functions) somewhere? I looked for a way to get it but it's local and every function which returns it is local, too.
    Something like Melee.lua, line 719
    return text, CalculationResults
    would be very nice.

    You can use DrDamage to automatically get your current values for hit/crit/dmg. (ItemValue -> Sets -> New -> DrDamage -> "Fireball" and then set the rank)

    I'm not exactly sure what you want, the standard avg dmg values are (with a little modification) easy with Formula, but it would display the same number on every item.

    An option to add the average damage to the returns from the DrDamage sets would make more sense. (For example a comparison: "200 (150)" => "2200 (2150)" for a 2150 dmg spell)

    Should work.

    You have to enter a name at ItemValue -> Sets -> New -> X, I fixed an error with Formula now (you should have gotten an error msg), so you should be able to set the options after you created the Formula Set via ItemValue -> Sets -> YourFormula.

    You don't have to specify all options, just try this for example:

    {
      eventType = "Miss",
      sourceID = "player",
      missType = "Dodge"
    }

    sourceID set to "player" and sourcePvP set to false will always filter every event.

    I've used GameTooltip in my first approach to scan if an item is equipable or not, so it seams HealPoints tries to scan this tooltip and somehow generates this error. Now that I'm using Gratuity the errors shouldn't come up again.

    What determines the order in which the sets are displayed in the tooltip?

    Haha, I just committed a new version which lets you decide in what order the Sets should be displayed.

    It would be useful if it was able to scan all craftable items, that the character and alts on the same server can create, for upgrades.

    It scans every epic in the local item cache (if you have ever "seen" this items its in the cache), atm. So the craftables should be included already. Ill add some filter settings soon.

    There's a list on the wiki (not complete), or you can get all valid IBL identifiers using:
    /print AceLibrary("ItemBonusLib-1.0"):GetNameList()

    I'd suggest using a single Formula:

    2*((WEAPON_MIN+WEAPON_MAX)/2)/WEAPON_SPEED + AGI + 0.02*STA + 0.5*STR + CR_HIT + CR_CRIT + 0.5*ATTACKPOWER + 0.01*CR_RESILIENCE + CR_HASTE + CR_SWORD_SKILL + 0.15*CR_DEFENSE + 0.01*(CR_DODGE+CR_PARRY+ARMOR)

    Sadly, there is no WEAPON_DPS stat in ItemBonusLib, but you can calculate it using Formula (ItemValue -> Sets -> New -> Formula) instead of a StatSet.
    Just enter "((WEAPON_MIN+WEAPON_MAX)/2)/WEAPON_SPEED" and you'll get the dps.

    btw: For average damage you should set both MIN and MAX to 0.235/2=0.1175, or will get wrong results.

    For example: 100min, 200avg, 300max dmg
    correct value: 200*0.235 = 47
    0.5 and 0.235: 0.5*100+0.235*300 = 120.5
    0.1175: 0.1175*100+0.1175*300 = 47

    Ok, finally I'm in the Internet again (whole line was dead for 4 days).

    I've committed some small changes a few minutes ago.

    New Feature: Best Items

    This gets a list of items (currently only epics of "your" armor type -> only plate for warriors f.e.) from Ludwig (which you need for this feature to work), calculates their values after BestJewel'ing them and prints the top 5.

    Usage:
    ItemValue -> Tools -> BestItems -> [Choose your Slot Type] (I'll improve this)

    About ItemValue_DrDamage:
    I've got some improvements and the addition of melee "spell" handling and melee stats almost completely in my local version. When Autoattack is working correctly I'll commit it.

    Some other plans for the next future:
    - Detailed per-set rounding settings
    - Set sorting
    - Completing EquipValue frame settings
    - Modularize jewel component (database, bestjewels function, default jewels) to cut down down some memory usage for those who don't use it

    Some answers:

    "1 AEP = 1 Agi = 20 Sta = 2 Str = 66.6 Def"
    [...]
    Is it worth adding a checkbox to change the behavior so folks can enter the literal values seen in this format?

    I'm thinking about some import methods to quickly fill new StatSets based on different sources (like a pawn importstring found in some spreadsheets or your example above).

    Shadow Panther rates sockets, not their contents, in his system.
    [...]
    Any suggestions?

    I've never understood why someone would like to rate Sockets that way. IMO the existence of sockets doesn't matter, the effective stat bonus they bring matters.
    The value of each Socket is minimum equal to the value of the best jewel and gets greater if the bonus is good. The current socket implementation has some advantages, it is very accurate (bonuses are rated, too) and flexible (changes if you decide to put only green gems into, f.e.).

    is it possible to somehow limit a rating to a particular class of gear?

    Wouldn't be too much trouble.

    @bmurray
    How to use ItemValue (and ItemValue_DrDamage) to rate items based on a defined spell:
    /ItemValue Sets New DrDamageSet ThisIsTheNameOfMyNewSet
    /ItemValue Sets ThisIsTheNameOfMyNewSet ThisIsTheNameOfMySpell
    /ItemValue Sets ThisIsTheNameOfMyNewSet ThisIsTheRankOfMySpell

    Of course you can use the waterfall gui/dewdrop via the fubar plugin, too.
