    At the risk of asking a stupid question, what does this mean for something like Bejeweled? Obviously the code's a mess to read, but I don't think that anybody would agree that there's any malicious intent there.

    I'm not sure that you even need to use GUIDs if all you're concerned about are players. GUIDs were implemented to help deal with multiple mobs of the same name. Player names are already unique per server so you should be able to use the SourceName argument of the C_L_E_U to get a player name. That said, it's important to remeber that any function that takes a UnitID will only accept a player name if they're in your party/raid. Otherwise you'll be stuck using the basic UnitIDs described here: http://www.wowwiki.com/UnitId

    Just out of curiousity, what is the end result that you're trying to accomplish?

    Well if that's the case, wouldn't it be possible to make it impractical to keep this list of locations updated?

    On a side note, humans are creatures of habit. Correct me if I'm wrong, but WoWMatrix didn't come to the forefront until WAU was disco'd, because people were happy with WAU and saw no need to change. It's going to take a similar force to get people to move away from WoWMatrix. However you've only got to keep them away long enough to form new habits. I'm sure a few weeks of WoWMatrix being broken after patch day would work wonders.

    According to the FAQ on WowMatirx, it says they don't host any addons but instead download them from authorized sites. Is there any way to prove that they are actually hosting the files?

    I think I was able to fix my issue, but it still might be something that somebody wants to look into.

    Yesterday when I was having problems I tried changing my repo authorization password and used the same password that it should have already been (ie, no actual change). I was hoping this would push the password to the new repo and get things moving.

    What I had to do to make it work was go in and actually change my repo password and then change it back again. Now I can commit.

    Sounds like a bug to me.

    I think something might be broken then. I've waited a few hours and can't make my initial commit. I've set the repo type to svn but still get the following two errors when I try to commit:

    Error   Commit Failed (details follow):
    Error   Authorization failed


    Unfortunately, it doesn't give me any details to share. :rolleyes:

    What is the proper way to include the latest tag of the Ace3 libs in the .pkgmeta file of your project? I looked over the examples shown in the announcement is wasn't 100% sure.

    Here's my best guess---

    Yeah I just created a blacklist for party loot items that are Uncommon or better. Anything that's Common or Trash I filter out before it even gets to that point.

    I would think that a function like IsPartyLootable() would be something Blizzard would have in there already. Oh well, at least it's only a handful of items....

    I wrote an addon to help one of our guild officers record the loot drops in raids and I wanted to filter out emblems and all the other party loot. It's not that I care about the party loot (which you're right, are mostly quest items) but that I don't care.

    That's what i ended up doing temporarily, but was hoping for a more elegant solution using a function in Lua. If a hard coded list is the only option, then it'll have to do.
