Would be nice to change that or at least have one of the three authors include Pneumatus's patch.

Wrath wasn't an anniversary or a minor patch, we still got stuck with a recycled Naxx.
A dungeon that only a small fraction of the WoW population experienced, such that it might as well have been new. A dungeon that was lauded as being one of the best ever made. A dungeon that fits right in with LK's lore. I don't see the problem.

And that's not even counting all the heroic encounters and even raid encounters we currently have that are identical to BC and even vanilla ones.
I defy you to come up with new fight mechanics for bosses every few weeks consistently and never re-use one that you've used before. Good luck.

Also, some 5-man encounters are meant to showcase raid encounters. It prepares players for the real thing.

I can't remember for sure, but I think 4-Horsemen isn't handled properly either and they do die.

To the authors, can Pneumatus patches be added to trunk? Or him added as author? Or the repo made public? lol :P

You are overlooking a thing: for the 5-year anniversary, they revamp a vintage encounter in a minor patch.

Yes, this is cheap, so they can work on the next content patch at the same time.

Thank you! I thought I was the only one who noticed.

Make sure the show in 10-man, 25-man, 40-man... etc are properly set for your groups.

v3.2.001c looks like it has a fix for that, Caliban. I have not tested though.

I don't get the lack of ideas argument... this isn't even for a major patch, it's for 3.2.2 and because it's WoW's 5th anniversary. Naxx isn't even comparable. Yes it was recycled content but it fit the lore for WotLK, many hadn't seen it and it was said to be the best dungeon they'd done. Either way, with another expansion about to be announced, it sure doesn't look like lack of ideas to me...

If your only need is to shave off 20/30MB... why bother? Hard disk space is cheap and so is bandwidth. I'm sure guildies who download 200 MB won't mind an extra 20 MB.

I don't mind the changes to the range check, but I found that on my rogue, when in a vehicle, it was using a much shorter range on enemy targets than what the vehicle's abilities are capable of. Anyway you could default to something longer when in a vehicle?

I see you said you'd be offering customization, but this is still relevant. When you code the customization, please consider an override or a secondary option when in a vehicle.

    Thanks! :)

if UnitIsDND(unit) then return "%s%*",Name(unit) end
You had the wrong API call and single-quotes instead of double-quotes around strings.

No idea if that's accurate or not (I'm not an engineer), but whoever made the last commit to Gathermate (r676) is using UNIT_DISSIPATE in a portion of the code that has to do with gas clouds?

Sorry I can't be more help, you'll have to look at the diff.

    posted a message on Recount
Sorry I can't compare Evasion-like abilities to shields. The former are cooldowns, the latter are spells you'll constantly cast to heal (yes, heal). You say "Recount's role is to allow to analyse what is going on and see things grouped by their general function in the fight." Well yeah, exactly... shields are part of healing in general. The mechanics are different in that it's not a direct heal, but a shield being used up. The intent is the same, disc priests are there for the same reason other healers are there: to survive. And yeah at this point, it is semantics, not the mechanics being clear. If I need to compare a disc priest to other healers or another disc priest (and I dare say I understand the difference between heals and shields), I'll have to add their effective absorption and healing done anyway (generally speaking anyway), so how does keeping them separate help raid leaders? I know how to use skill details and go in-depth if I have to. That's why I keep talking about intent, not mechanics. To me, this is what matters and what I need Recount for, rather than being technical about how a shield works.

But either way, it's not open to negotiations and you'll add an option to toggle it, so I guess that's that. Well, assuming the API does exist...
