Go to curseforge.com and look it up. There's a ticket tracker, but most of the tickets aren't acknowledged so I'm not sure where the best place is to actually raise an issue. I did report the issue of CC not being able to pull down alpha version from WowAce.

From what I've seen mentioned on IRC, the CC is ready for alphas, but the Curse server doesn't send data regarding available alpha versions yet. So it's not a CC issue apparently.

Is there any way to change the colors of the threat bars, especially the personal threat bar in Omen3? I really miss this feature.

Ugh, please read the whole thread, particularly post #100, it was answered.

    Yes, the feature is coming.

Maybe this is the answer to my question, but I'll go ahead and ask anyways:

Rogues have a new skill called Shadow Dance. It lets them use their from-stealth abilities unstealthed. Now, I'd love to be able to have my action bars page by using the Shadow Dance skill just like they do when I use stealth.

    Is this possible?

Just want to give you an extra piece of info here. Here's a post by the ubiquitous Ghostcrawler:
We are going to make a change to Shadow Dance to keep the basic functionality but make the UI ramifications easier. Ideally we'll just let you use the stealth bar. This is a slightly complicated change so it might take some time.

I am not familiar with Bartender but I'm assuming it will make it do what you want when it's implemented. I know it doesn't answer your question for right now, and there might be a way to do it with Bartender right now, but at least you know that every other rogue out there has that issue. :P

posted a message on Talented, a Talent template editor !
    Hi Jerry,

there's a problem with Talented_Data-v3.0.2-9056-release -2. The rogue talents are wrong. Mace Spec becomes Blade Flurry. Blade Flurry becomes Sword Spec. Sword Spec becomes Aggression and Aggression becomes Mace Spec. That's in the Combat tree.

I didn't check any other talent or trees (mainly because I was in a raid at the time) so it might not be the only ones.

    Hope that helps.

I'm having a serious issue. Sylvanaar, you might remember that I talked to you on IRC a couple days ago about the guild roster not being sortable because of the playernames module. You fixed that, but I was also reporting some WoW crashes. Well I'm still having those and as much as I hate to report that, it's only happening with the HighCPUUsageModules enabled. Basically a reloadui will crash wow (error #132). Tonight, I couldn't even log on. It would crash on load.

Now I'm not saying it's necessarily the module's fault, because I find it hard to believe. It could be a bug in wow which only surfaces with that module. And I don't see anyone else having that problem, so maybe it's a combination of add-ons. I hesitated before posting it, but I'm out of ideas, so I'm throwing it out there.

posted a message on Arenas' Moving Obstacles Timers
Well the new arenas are coming out with patch 3.0.2, and we now know the timers on the moving obstacles are not random. So the suggestion is simple: timers for those.

And the first thing that came to my mind was a BigWigs module. Seems really appropriate. I know Bigwigs authors aren't fond of anything to do with PvP, but that could be a particular case.

    Just a thought.

posted a message on Decursive 2.0 (official thread)
    Sorry for the late reply.

It started a few builds ago. Can't tell you exactly when, as I update every other day via WAU. And I also don't raid every day or even on that toon, for that matter.

But I'm glad you found the problem. I did have a player focused, and it may have been Kryten (the name of the player in that commbat log above) that night, but I can't remember. I tend to focus the MT to apply earth shield, and he may have been tanking that night so that's possible.

Come to think of it, now I remember it happening to the tank in a heroic. And I had him focused for the same reason (earth shield). Makes sense.

It used to work though. I do remember that much.

posted a message on Decursive 2.0 (official thread)
What I meant is that whenever Decursive didn't detect poisoning, I didn't try to cure poison, I simply healed through the damage caused by it. I'm guilty of relying on your add-on and not having Cure Poison/Disease key bound. :P

But, I have more info for you.

I was doing ZA last night on my resto shammy. During the trash pulls to the lynx boss (all those non-elite lynx + one or two elites), there's some poisoning going on.

At random, Decursive would miss some. X-Perl (the unitframe add-on I use) would color the frame accordingly when someone gets poisoned, but Decursive would stay silent.

To answer one of your previous questions... if I mouse over the MUF before the poison runs out or someone else cures it, then suddenly the MUF becomes colored and active, and I can cure it.

I was in a raid... and the group hadn't changed since the beginning. Don't think anybody even zoned out since we were doing a timed run (offtopic: not quite there yet :( 3 chests out of 4).

I don't use the live list. To me it's extra info I don't need. Sorry. :/

I have a combatlog for you, attached to this post. Here's one line where I cure poison:
    SPELL_DISPEL,0x000000000119C9D3,"Lighteric",0x511,0x0000000000531CA8,"Morfea",0x512,526,"Cure Poison",0x8,43364,"Tranquilizing Poison",8,DEBUFF

    I am Lighteric.

There are several instances of poisoning in this small combatlog extract. If you do a search for Tranquilizing Poison, you'll notice that the last 2 persons to be poisoned were Kryten and Morfea. A player named Chopin cured it off Kryten, I cured it off Morfea.

I am 100% positive Decursive never detected Kryten being poisoned. It got Morfea. That's the reason I stopped the combat log there, so I would remember.

    Hope that helps.

Don't know if it's related but I'm seeing the same thing at random. I was healing in Blood Furnace Heroic last night on my shaman, which can cure poison. That instance has stealthed NPCs jumping you and poisoning you. It worked just fine until at some point, one of those NPCs poisoned the tank, yet Decursive stayed silent as if nothing was happening. I could see he was poisoned though. Nothing different from the previous stealthed NPCs in that instance. It just decided not to work on that one. I didn't try clicking on the MUF, I just healed through it. I'll try that if I can next time.

What's funny is that the pally tank said he saw it on HIS Decursive. I thought that was interesting.

It's something I've noticed on and off here and there but it's hard to notice in the heat of battle when it happens rarely.

Sorry I don't have a combat log to give you. I didn't get any Lua errors either.

    Hope that helps a little.

First off, fantastic add-on. I love it.

I have what is probably a stupid question, but is there a way to hide the routes ? I know about the Auto Show/Hide features but I want to keep my tracking up without the routes when I'm not specifically farming. Just on the off chance I stumble upon a node. I could set it as Never Show, but then when I want to go farming, I'd have to re-enable that.

    Hope that makes sense.

One of the things I do on my UI is have seperate chat windows for the various channels. Stuff like general, party, guild, whispers, etc are on the main window. Trade is only displayed in it's own window. Then I have windows for party, guild and whispers if I want to filter everything out. Personally I find it a very nice solution to filtering out all the spam from trade.

I do it too, but my setup is probably different than yours.

The two displays you see really only differ by 2 lines of code, though i dont know if you would only want some lines to be truncated, and some to wrap at the same time. Like you want to see full text from guild, but truncated text from trade.

Actually I'd love both features within the same chat frame. I'd happily truncate trade and keep party/raid wrapped. There are times when I'm in a party or raid while still in a city (getting consumables... etc). So making it chat-channel-based instead of chat-frame-based would be awesome. That might be complicated though, so it's just an idea.

Keep up the good work, I'm really glad to see Prat being maintained and updated. :)

Well, EBB can, as ArthicEU pointed out, but yeah it would have to be your target or focus.

I must admit that I always focus the person I put earth shield on so that would work for me for example, but YMMV.

Having said all that, a shaman-dedicated add-on is the better way to go. There's enough things to keep track of and I personally use one that keeps track of totems AND shields (TotemTimers).

posted a message on <Made by xxxx> Remover?
This is part of the ItemString, which contains the ItemID, EnchantID, IDs for the gems if any, a SuffixID and a UniqueID that contains various info, including who crafted it.

Now I'm not an expert, but I don't believe you can modify an existing item (I feel a can of woms being opened if that was allowed).

If you want to hide it when linking in chat, I suggest you don't link the crafted item, but the generic itemlink for it, which you should be able to find online or create a /script command for if you know its ID. If it has gems, that's going to become complicated since you have to add them.

I can't remember if the "Crafted by..." shows up when inspecting someone. If it does, then there's no way to hide it that I can see.

I know it doesn't show up in the AH, IIRC, which means Blizz plays with the itemstrings but that's them not you.

Not sure I got all the above right, someone more knowledgeable than I can probably confirm.

I want to know though... why does it matter to you ? Just curious.
