Ok. So I believe you've fixed this:
Altoholic-3.0.006\Frames\GuildProfessions.lua:173: attempt to index local 'link' (a nil value)

    I also had:

Will PM you screenshots, because they show names.

Not quite sure what you mean by entering an account name.

EDIT: Nevermind, I know what you mean by account name. Details in the PM.

I would assume that he appeared twice with two different alt names, like in:

    + Alt 1
    Alt 2
    Alt 3
    + Alt 4
    Alt 1
    Alt 2
    Alt 3

If that's the case, that's due to the fact that the frame is refreshed along with GUILD_ROSTER_UPDATE. I need to find a way to detect a player logout without relying on GUILD_ROSTER_UPDATE.

That's exactly what happened, and it fixed itself a bit later.
    Quote from Thaoky
    It's mentioned in the readme.txt :)

I have to say that privacy is a big concern to me, which is why I took the time to make it right, and to allow players to completely disable it. That said, if you feel it should be more explicit, give me specific examples and I'll implement them.

Nobody reads readmes (well, except me, lol...). Perhaps adding a message in the options near the "Enable Account Sharing" such as "A confirmation will still be required any time someone requests your info" would make people use it.
    Quote from Thaoky
The totals at the bottom right are not for the guildies, they're for multiple accounts :)

Aha, but when I select All Accounts in the drop down box above, the guildie's account shows up and his totals get added to mine.
    Quote from Thaoky
The character tab does not deal with guild mates at all, it only handles multiple accounts. Care to elaborate and post a screenshot please ?

Kinda the same as above, if I select ":<server name>" then I can select a guildie and browse his details as I would my own. But if the character tab isn't meant for other people, how do you browse their bank, gear, rep... etc ?

I'll get you SS and lua stack traces later. I'm at work.

Awesome update, I love it !

Found a few bugs, including Lua errors, which I forgot to get before logging. I'll get them soon, I promise. They're still in my BugSack. Mostly to do with Guild Skills.

While playing around with a guildie who was logging all his alts for Altoholic to pick up, I was keeping an eye on the Guild Skills tab, and suddenly, he appeared twice. As in, a different account (with the + next to his name) and the alts I already had were duplicated under that new "account". Anyway, it fixed itself after a while.

In the Guild Skills list, I cannot click on Cooking for myself. Clicking on the empty space there generated a script error, but only the first time. Guildie reported seeing the same problem: not being able to click on Cooking for his toon first on the Guild Skills list.

About the rest of the sharing, it might be wise to explain that you have to confirm it, so it's not an invasion of privacy. Fun to see what he had in his bank though. :P

On the Summary tab, Account Summary category (the very first one), the details in the main window are correct, however, the totals at the bottom right are not. It's adding both my and guildies levels, gold and time played.

On the Character tab, the first dropdown list says Default:<Server Name> which is what I use to select my toons. To see guildies, I have to change it to :<Server Name> (yes, nothing shown before the semicolon) which is kinda odd.

But all this is fairly minor. Overall, awesome work. Love it. :)

Works just fine for me, except for the bug I reported here: http://forums.wowace.com/showpost.php?p=261033&postcount=540 (*hint* :P)

Make sure the module is enabled, and that you have the right chat frames checked. That's all I can think of.

EDIT: I'm not using the very latest alpha and I see some changes to that module in the last 2 builds. No idea if that means anything.

For what it's worth, once Capping knows the time of the next Wintergrasp battle, it's shown on your alts automatically. So it's a matter of a few seconds to log your main and go talk to the NPC in Dalaran, then play your alts as much as you want.

No solution will be perfect until an API is provided by Blizzard to find out the time of the next battle.

Man, I just answered that (again) a few posts above yours... known Bliizard bug.

The option to keep records of buffs (I think that's what it's called, it's the last column of checkboxes in the options - I can't check the name right now) is not being saved across sessions. I checked it for Self and it becomes unchecked every time I log on.

Speaking of which, what does that actually do ? I didn't see any obvious change.

    Thanks.

posted a message on Better estimate of Disc priest heals: need mitigation/absorbtion addon
That kinda becomes complicated on fights with multiple tanks or tank switching. Not to mention fights like Patchwerk, where Hateful Strikes will not land on the tank (well assuming things go well :P). And at the end of the day, it's inaccurate data.

The better approach is probably to educate your raid/guild leaders with regard to your abilities. The healing meter isn't really something that can be easily interpreted, contrary to a damage meter. Nice article I saw referenced earlier on the subject: http://www.worldofmatticus.com/2009/01/07/4-reasons-healing-meters-suck/

posted a message on Prat 3.0 Chat Mod Framework
Found a bug, sylvanaar. It's in the PopupMessage module. It's set to my nickname obviously, and also to Eric. I have it configured to output to PopupMessage if that matters.

If a message comes up containing a raid icon and my nickname (such as a raid warning from a boss mod which is capable of adding target icons to messages, like Big Wigs), it comes up correctly, but the raid icon stays in the middle of your screen until the next time a PopupMessage is triggered with my nickname. It should fade along with the message.

The bug has been around forever, but strangely enough, it never occured to me that is was Prat's fault. It's very easy to reproduce: send a whisper to yourself containing your own nickname and a raid icon. Observe the message as it fades, but not the icon. Then send yourself another whisper with your nickname, but no icon, and you'll see it disappear.

    Hope that helps !

Cos I'm fiddling with the code that does the exceptions to castable, so things work like they used to. You know, where a priest will see all hots from all classes etc. ;)

Aha, cool. :) Glad you're reading this.

PS: please remember the new shaman HoTs. :)

It fades the unitframes of people who are out of range, which is now also a feature in the default WoW interface. It's based on one of your spells or a bandage if you don't have that kind of ability (e.g. rogues). There's also one setting for range on your target frame.

Micwie, it's a known Bliizard bug. And no offense, but it's been mentioned in this thread already.

You guys should check the latest alphas (alphas = unstable, so do this knowingly), the castable/curable buffs/debuffs problems should now be fixed. Not sure why Zeksie doesn't post it here since it's been such a big issue, but *shrug*...

So... anyone else use Heavy Frostweave Bandage as their range check spell and has it "forgotten" every login until I open the options a couple times and it repopulates ? Highly annoying.

On an alt I hadn't played in a while (in other words, several versions of Prat went through my computer before I logged him on again), I keep getting this on log in:

    Interface\FrameXML\ChatFrame.lua:2070: in function `ChatFrame_OnEvent':
    <string>:"*:OnEvent":1: in function <[string "*:OnEvent"]:1>

It doesn't affect my main character. Any idea ?
