    posted a message on DogTag Questions Go Here
    Ive got a question concerning this Tag:

    [outline][if IsPlayer then HP:ClassColor else ~IsPlayer HP:HostileColor:Paren end]

    It should display the health in my targetframe in different colors:
    If its a player it should use its class color, if its a mob/NPC it should use Hostilecoloring.
    When i target players, it works, when i target NPCS/mobs it writes its HP in the correct color but with "Target" in front of it: Target9765

    any ideas ?

    Just tried parenting and it works fine in Pitbull4. However, my target frame is named thus: PitBull4_Frames_target. Note the difference between our frame names PitBull4 instead of Pitbull4 and target instead of Target. Also have target of target working (PitBull4_Frames_targettarget). The frame names I got using the following macro rather than the keybinding one;

    /run ChatFrame1:AddMessage(GetMouseFocus():GetName())

    Hope that helps Scrye :)

    so the frame names are case sensitive? thats all ? :D - if this is all, i am sorry bothering u guys :confused:

    Well i use the build in frame identifier tool. The Pitbull-Targetframe-name should be: Pitbull4_Frames_Target. And i use exactly that spelling. Then the panel disappeared.
    Of couse i was thinking, im doing something wrong. So i tested parenting on my recount mainframe, wich worked.

    When i use the frame identifier tool it says an additional pitbull4 frame. i cant remember exactly but it was something like: Pitbull4_Betterstatustext or -icon - wich, i guessed, isent the right one.
    Im relatively new in this topic, so i cant exclude that im doing something wrong here. Maybe somebody with could try out parenting his pitbull4 targetframe and tell the result?

    I managed to get the error message:

    Same Problem here.
    When i try to parent Pitbull4 Targetframe, FocusFrame, Targetoftargetframe .. etc the panels disappear entirely!

    can somebody help me out with the basics of how to script these panels, that they only appear when the corresponding pitbullframes are visible?
    Thanks in advance.

    When i try to parent frames like my targetframe, targetoftargetframe, etc... the entire Panel disappears and can only be brought back by parenting it back to UiParent, reset position and reloading my interface.
    First i thought it might be a pitbull 4 problem, but some other guy replied, he has no problems in parenting pitbull4 frames with eepanels.
    Somebody with the same problem here?
    Any suggestions or solutions?
    Thx in advance guys

    Is it possible to parent frames to pitbull4? I parented a KG panel to PitBull4_Frames_target, and the panel disappeared entirely, and didn't show up after I reset it's XY offset and reloaded ui. I had to parent it back to UIParent and reload before it would show.

    Currently i'm using a script to show/hide the frame, but it's very laggy.

    Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong here?
