All bosses are "elite". But bosses are bigger than elites.

Obviously. But I still like having "+" next to a boss's level. Call me anal. :D It seems [Plus] now only works on bosses and NPCs that are of neutral faction, but not for friendly NPCs or hostile mobs (like Battlemasters), in which case I have to use [ShortClassification] now. However, if I use [ShortClassification] along with [Plus], I get a "++" on Battlemasters and the like. Is this now intentional functionality or is it broken? [Plus] used to work on any elite (or boss) without the need for [ShortClassification].

Use [ShortClassification] - it gives you "r" for rare, "+" for elite, and "b" for boss.

But it doesn't work on bosses. Or rather, bosses don't receive the "+" because they already get identified as "b". That's why [Plus] was nice.

What does [Plus] do? I haven't seen that tag before.

According to the wiki: "+" if the unit is a plus mob. Otherwise blank.

I've been using it for a while and it recently just stopped working.

I don't know when or how it broke exactly, but it appears [Plus] is no longer working at all. Is anyone else having this issue?

[Zone] should be what you're looking for. ^^

Is there any sort of location tag? I'd like to see where people are in my group.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but is there a way to display names in one color (like green) for players that are flagged and a different color for non-flagged player names? I can't figure out a way to do it. Thanks.

EDIT: Let me rephrase, as I'm aware of [Name:HostileColor]. I'd to display my own name in my tooltip in a custom color, which I've done, but I can't figure out how to make it change to green when I'm flagged. It remains the custom color.

Try this. It should make the name green when PVP, White if not.
    [PVP?Name:Green!Name:White]

    Excellent, thank you.

And can we get the Rock configuration button integrated into Fubar, please? I usually do not place any buttons on my minimap ... ;)

I second that. I have too many buttons on my minimap as it is.

There is something iffy with the DifficultyColor tag. I got this (in Cowtip):

    [Level:IsEqual(??)?Text(Level):Red!Text(Level):DifficultyColor] [Level:IsEqual(??)?Level:Red!Level:DifficultyColor] [Level:IsEqual(??)?Classification:Red!Classification:DifficultyColor] [SmartRace] [IsPlayer?SmartClass:ClassColor]

But it does reliably work only on Mobs or PVP Enabled Players. It doesn't color the tag correctly on NPCs nor Non-PVP Players (no matter the faction), only the red ?? shows correctly. The tag stays white all the time. Any insight on what could be wrong? Tried it with all but Cowtip and it's libraries disabled and still.

I agree. I think the DifficultyColor tag should just color all levels and leave it to the user to use it as they please rather than having to bother with work-arounds.

On a side note, TipBuddy displays friendly target levels, as well as your own, in gray. But it colors enemy PCs (PVP-enabled or not) and non-hostile, both attackable and non-attackable, NPC levels. I wish CowTip would do this, at least. As you said, it only works on hostile targets.

Another thing I'd like to see added is health/mana on the actual life/mana meter via mobhealth or something.

I think Blizz made a change in a patch a while ago so that all friendly players and npcs con the same(white).

Blizzard's default tooltip doesn't display colored difficulty levels at all. Are you talking about an API change?

Is there no way of displaying a player's location in the tooltip, like when hovering over someone in the party?

The Add/Sub doesn't appear to be working. I'm 53 and there's lvl 6 mobs that are red to me.

I use Add() for my NumTargeting line (to account for my pet if any), and it works there. Are all of them showing red or are you getting various colors? Could you copy and paste your DogTags here?

He's referring to the tag I posted above to do the difficulty settings manually. I tested it again and it works fine for my level 70 until I get level 7, 8 or so. It must be doing the comparisons by text string, not integer. Level 6 is grey as it should be but level 7 is yellow and 8 is red...WTF?

Might have to bug this on Jira.

    Exactly.

You can always cheat and make up the difficulty colors yourself. Try this:

    [Level:IsEqual(??)?Red![Level:IsGreater([Level#player:Add(4)])?Red![Level:IsGreater([Level#player:Add(2)])?Color(ffa500)![Level:IsLess([Level#player:Sub(2)])?Green![Level:IsLess([Level#player:Sub(10)])?Gray!Yellow]]]]][Text(Level)] [Level] [Classification] [White][SmartRace:Hide(Not specified)] [IsPlayer?SmartClass:ClassColor]

The Add/Sub doesn't appear to be working. I'm 53 and there's lvl 6 mobs that are red to me.

I'd really like to know a solution to this as well. To add to what Iani has said, even players of the opposite faction don't have their difficulty levels colored properly.

Im not sure what you mean. Can you provide some samples?

    Sure can.

As you can see, links from other players appear to have a space automatically inserted in front of them, and the same applies when linking your own items. It wastes space in the edit box when linking multiple items.

    Let me be super-clear.

When checked it shows the font with a drop shadow. When unchecked it shows the font with an outline.

The default setting is checked - ie. the normal font - which has a drop shadow. Normal font = drop shadow.

I'll let Curney sort it out when he has time, i was just making the default match the correct behavior so everyone doesnt have to change it. Before I changed it it was defaulting to outline fonts.

Okay, that makes sense. Can I annoy you yet again on the ChatLink issue? Do you have plans on removing the space added before chat links? This is my only quirk.
