    Thanks but where exactly do I put this code

    -- Create a new ace2 addon for hooking
    THIS_Hook = AceLibrary("AceAddon-2.0"):new("AceHook-2.1")

    -- Create a function to resize the eePanel when the hooked frame is resized
    function THIS_Hook:OnSizeChanged(frame, ...)
      THIS:SetHeight(frame:GetHeight()+10)
    end

    -- Hook to the frame we want to resize against (ChatFrame1 here)
    THIS_Hook:HookScript(eePanelX, "OnSizeChanged") --the eePanelX is the eepanel you want to spy

    Btw I only have one eePanel bordering my chat window so I only need to resize one of them when I minimise my chat window.

    Thanks again.

    Having a problem with Minichat and attached eepanels:

    http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1093/1408586930_197d609ba3_o.jpg

    Chat frames appear some pixels above the bottom frame (was originally aligned, edge to edge, but resets upon log out). If I minimize / expand the frames once after login, (both chat and combatlog) frames settles 1-2 pixles below the edge. If I minimize the chat windows and log out, they re-appear "in the air" (way above the bottom border) next time I log in.

    Background panels uses:
    Parent/Anchored: ChatFrameX
    Anchor to: Middle

    -- Create a new ace2 addon for hooking
    eePanel2_Hook = AceLibrary("AceAddon-2.0"):new("AceHook-2.1")

    -- Create a function to resize the eePanel when the hooked frame is resized
    function eePanel2_Hook:OnSizeChanged(frame, ...)
      eePanel2:SetHeight(frame:GetHeight() + 16) --Note: The "+ 15" is to have a lil gap between panel side and actual text area. Same reason i have my BGPanel width set to 105%.
    end

    -- Hook to the frame we want to resize against (ChatFrame1 here)
    eePanel2_Hook:HookScript(ChatFrame2, "OnSizeChanged")

    Border panels:
    Parent/Anchored: eePanelX (the one above)
    Anchor to: Middle

    Hi All

    I currently use eePanels all over the place and Seerah had pointed to the minchat mod which seems perfect but I can#t figure out how to attach the eePanel to the chat frame and then resize. I can see in this thread it has already being talked about so sorry for covering old ground but I don't understand how to implement this code / script or attach an eepanel to the chat frame. Any help wold be superb.

    Thanks and sorry for the noobishness! ^.^

    Acacia :: Nice UI mate very very nice in fact. What mod are you using for the chat boxes to make them small with the little "up" arrow thing?

    Hi All

    I have been asked a few times to make my UI downloadable for everyone so I finally got my finger out and compiled it all together in a zip file and put it on a website for download. Please note that this UI is designed on a widescreen monitor and as such will only look the same on a widescreen monitor. If you have a normal monitor you will have to juggle the screen elements around but this shouldn't take long.

    Website :: http://www.lapseofreason.info/

    Direct Download :: http://www.lapseofreason.info/LapseUI.zip

    This UI was inspired by Cathlyn so .... "Thank you Cathlyn, I love your UI really good job!".

    Have fun!

    Hey saul what addon do you use to change the color of the character names in chat?

    Its Prat, available from wowace files site as normal.

    Have to say Caithlyn's UI is awesome, one of the best I've ever seen. I'll certainly be stealing a few bits into my current UI :) Good work.

    I'm at work atm and I cannot confirm or deny your questoin but I'm sure I only get the ABF layout installed as a default profile. You can of course copy and paste the layouts people post in the thread on this forum. I guess that doesn't help much ... its the GM's standard response I'm affraid "working as intended" :)

    Yeah agreed, it would be awesome even if it was a value based ofset +10 / -10 horizontally and vertically. I used to love discord for its way of nudging sections of the unit frame around. Although it was over complicated it didn't limite the things you could do.

    I have tried looking for some way of putting in a new line or caridge return into my tags. Sorry if I have missed this and it has been covered somewhere else.

    For example.
    [name][guild] with a new line in between so it would appear like

    character name
    guild name

    Is this possible?

    Works just fine for me and has done for the last few releases of Pitbull. Great work and offers a ncier layout than either oRA or CTRA certainly regarding configuration and such.

    Yeah it's a fair point. Old habbits die hard and I've always used a cast bar mod. Should probably get rid of it like you say. Tbh thou being a feral druid I don't really ever see my cast bar that often, espically in raids and such. Even more reason to get rid of Quartz I guess but there you go :)

    Yeah I guess it is, never really thought about it. I like quartz and think it looks nice, I could try getting rid of it and using the built in castbar with Pitbull.

    Hey All

    I posted this on another thread but thought I should put it in here as well for completness. This uses eePanels2 to create boxes around the unit frames so don't expect to copy my code and get the same look. Just ask if you need help.

    Hope you Like
